Durable, great product
These are NOT kin to the low-quality, one or two use, cardboard stencils that seem to be everywhere in local craft stores. These are plastic, and work great! I used them to paint letters on wood, and they did exactly what I needed them to do...AND I can use them over and over again!

Snap Crackle Pop
Perfect for my project! I didn't cut the letters to separate them. I painted a letter (taping it each time) and let it dry before moving on to the the next section.

Cute font, good size
Overall, I like this stencil set. The font is chunky and the results are pleasing. My only complaint applies to all of the Westcott stencils -- the plastic is so thin and flimsy, they're a pain too work with. And the blue plastic is difficult to see through to line up the letters.

These are sturdy as long as you are gentle cleaning them. I made the mistake of wiping too vigorously to get the paint I used off and I ripped a part of the M off. My husband was able to tape it back on and it works. I used these to create 22 wooden signs and they lasted for all easily. I have cleaned them and they are ready for the next project!

Would not be good for kids. Too thin and flimsy
Too thin to hold shape when tracing most letters without extreme care. Would be very frustrating for most kids. Dabbing with a sponge or paintbrush might be okay.

the stencil was perfect for my project. I traced names onto oak so I can then cut the lnsmes out. the letters had cut outs allowing access to the interior of the letter for my saw. I forget to say the price was right.
