Southern Ag Dithane M-45 Fungus & Disease Control (6 Ounce)

Mixed this with Southern Ag Thiomyl & 12102 sticker spreader. Works great on Desert Roses as a spray, Excellent fungus control.

This product was recommended by the company that grafted my Florida Roses. It's the best thing I've ever found to fight black spot. And in powdered form, there are many, many applications to be had. I can leave this on my lanai, because it won't freeze. Lastly, the fungi it controls don't get used to it, so you can keep applying it.

Works as intended at a good price.

Have used several times so far treating roses for blackspot and works. Won't remove blackspot from infected leaves but does stop the spread. Just make sure to rotate fungicides to a different mode of action periodically so fungi being treated doesn't develop resistance. Fortunately the AI in Dithane is a low risk fungicide for developing resistance due to its mode of action. FYI will leave spray residue on foliage but unless you're a commercial grower your options are more limited.

Works well

When you use this and mix it with Thiomyl, it is the perfect mix for killing black spot on Indian Hawthorn and other sensitive plants. You used to be able to purchase that mix, but it is no longer available.

This is a first-line of defense against grape diseases, and resistance is unlikely. It has a l-o-n-g PHI. I repurchase a small amount each year (and properly dispose of any left over) because it degrades in storage, something I was not aware of at one point.

I was surprised to receive a card from Royal mail to say that the product could not be delivered until a fee of £11.57 had been paid. This consisted of £3.57 VAT on this import from outside the EU and £8.00 international fee by Royal Mail. The product cost me much more than I had expected and represents poor value for money. The website did not make this clear, as it should have done. Delivery was also slower than the quoted time.
