Just wanted to give a quick review on the product and why i purchased this. I am a very active almost 50 year old woman and x marathon runner. My knees are shot, chrondromalaycia patella or crumbling knee caps, sore joints too. I struggle to climb stairs without them sounding like paper bags and me shouting out in discomfort. I have had two surgeries on one knee with no relief. I am recently qualified as a nail technician too and starting a new home salon, a few weeks in my hands are painful now too, everyone says i now have arthritis in my hands. Forget living with that too!!! I have tried so many products and given up, i saw this and read as many reviews as i possibly could before i was drawn into getting this. I am eager to try just based on the great reviews. The tub arrived today -after ordering yesterday. I arrives full! The powder is very fine and non smelling, i dissolved two tablespoons in a tall glass of water. It just taints the water colour slightly to a very pale lemon colour if that. I can honestly say its the first full glass of water that i found very easy to drink - i never drink water! I have had no ill effects as yet and no stirring up of my belly. I cannot comment on what it is going to do to help my skin, nails long hair or anything else as yet (a red head btw with skin like a 30 year old already!) I can only pray that it helps my knees spring back to life and makes me glow. Very excited about this. I am also keen to share a tub with my husband who has a huge gas problem! Burping. No matter what he eats he has very excessive gas, possibly due to the shape of his collapsed sternum from birth. But he is keen to help his digestion and aid the excessive discomfort that causes him to bloat too. Watch this space folks! Happy to see that the product not only looks nice, packaged nicely but appears that the seller is a huge support too :-) I can see that this is going to be a life long product.

I’ve been taking collagen for around 3 years now. At the beginning only the Great Lakes brand was available and while hard to reliably get, initially it wasn’t effected by the insane price hikes that proved the ultimate deterrent. As stated by other reviewers I began the trial and error search for an affordable and good replacement. Luckily for me the Edible Health collagen was one I discovered early on. I immediately liked it and have subsequently switched loyalties. (I hope this lends confidence to those who are weary with the huge price variations. This collagen remains at the same, stable price.) The benefits of this collagen are wide-ranging and deep. I’m in my mid 40’s and have experienced the usual wear and tear but am delighted to report this collagen really does turn back the clock. I initially began taking collagen because I suffer with trigeminal neuralgia coupled with tmj, a thoroughly miserable combination, and I hoped the collagen would serve to reduce the joint pain while shoring up any damage. This it has done. Generally speaking all of my joints are on good form these days, including my hands which were showing early signs of knuckle soreness. This has completely gone. When I first started taking collagen I didn’t think for a moment there may be other benefits beyond the health boons, and yet there are marked cosmetic improvements that are truly wonderful. My skin is the best it has ever been. I have hardly any wrinkles and I am complimented on my radiance (which is nectar to the ears of a middle-aged woman). My nails are strong and supple, and grow at an amazing rate. Perhaps the greatest transformation has been to my hair, which always tended towards dry, thin and dull. These days it is soft, luscious and much thicker. The colour remains strong and I have few white hairs (in part this may be due to having auburn hair as the hair of red-heads ages differently to other shades). In terms of usage, I love to cook and routinely add this collagen to my various sauces and gravies. It blends beautifully, is tasteless and completely odourless. A little while ago I slipped with a chefs knife and incurred a deepish cut to my finger. I was astonished at how quickly my body repaired the wound, so for anyone considering taking this stuff for wound-healing or post-surgery, I offer my encouragement. Aside from cooking, I take it in my tea and find it delicious. My body laps it up and misses in on days when I don’t take it. I’d like to add something about the seller in this review because in the fifteen years I have been an Amazon customer, I have never received such first class customer service. Corinna is one of those rare, warm souls you come across in life who fully restore your faith in humanity. She is a joy to deal with, always responding quickly and fully to emails. No question or concern is too small or too silly. She actually cares about her customers and goes the extra mile to ensure you are happy. Amazon can be such a cold, faceless venue that to interact with someone who is kind and open really transforms the experience. All in all, Edible Health Collagen is a fantastic product that comes from a family-run business who possess integrity and solid values, something I consider really important in our cyber-driven world. I love this collagen and heartily endorse it.

I've only been taking this for about a week, so I can't comment on its efficacy... (I know, I know, should have waited til I could comment more intelligently, but I'll update later...) The powder itself is perfectly uniform in its consistency. The flavour is non existent. A mild suggestion at first of the gelatine caps I used to take eons ago, but, barely there, and now I can find no trace of it. I've been mixing it into a half a tub of coconut milk yoghurt mixed with chia seeds, and eating it with blueberries and other fruit for breakfast. When I first mix it in, it seems to 'thin' the yoghurt a little, but as I leave it overnight, by the morning it's completely 'set'. No flavour change at all in my regular breakfast. Today I tried it for the first time in my One And Only Coffee for the day. I was a bit worried. It might be obvious. but I can only drink one a day, so it'd better be good. Only a teaspoon to begin with, but absolutely untraceable. Tomorrow I'll try a little bit more... Today I added the rest of my daily dose to a dish of pasta. My husband's face ... :O !! But once again, not even a suggestion of something added. So, I'm happy, and hopeful for some improvement to my thin, flaking and splitting nails. I'll update in a couple of months. BTW, I research a lot before I purchase something like this, and it seems to be a great product. I was perhaps most swayed by reading responses to reviewers by the owners. I'm happy to spend my money with a company with such great integrity. UPDATE 17th Aug. I first began taking this on 27th June, and began my second tub today, 17th August. Which means I paid roughly 24Pounds for about 74 days of supplement powder. I've been taking 4 large teaspoons per day. (sorry, not going to figure it out for you, but is seems quite economical to me.) I might actually be taking slightly less than I need, so I'm working that out... I've noticed a lot of improvement to my nails. The splits and flaking have almost completely stopped, and I have to file them more frequently. Definitely stronger. I have my fingers crossed for continued improvement, and if my dosage change has noticeable effect, I'll definitely update. So far, very happy.

Have taken collagen powder and collagen tablets before. Research advises powder form as it gets into the body system faster. This is the 1st time I have used this particular brand. I mix the powder in squash no tastes and dissolves really nicely. However no scoop so I have to guess what is 13grams (I am no cook expert either so measuring as always been for me a bit hit and miss). Will buy again

I was looking gor bone broth when I came across this. I first ordered this in Feb 2019 and 6 months on I'm impressed with the results. Hair and nails are stronger and thicker. General wear and tear joint pain has gone. Energy levels up and digestion is much better. But the most impressive result is a significant improvement in my dry eyes (mostly caused by computer use at work). I recommended this product to a relative who has sarcoid which has caused very dry eyes. She has been using this for about 4 months and notices a significant reversal if she does not use it daily. We have both noticed that we sleep better too. I mix mine with a big glass of filtered water, topped up with a little warm water and the juice of half a lemon and half a lime as it needs to be taken with vitamin C. It tastes fine if just taken with water - pretty tasteless really. Best to add water to powder and stir as it seems to dissolve better than powder to water which can leave lumps but they do eventually dissolve if left long enough. Customer service is excellent. I had some questions which were answered immediately. I received a tub that hadn't been completely sealed - I queried with supplier who apologised profusely, assured me the product had not been compromised and sent me a another tub free of charge a few days later. A plastic container which is marked for recycling and no additional plastic packaging is a real bonus. A refillable version would be good. Excellent!.

For the first three weeks of use, my sugar cravings disappeared - it was amazing. I wasn't expecting this benefit. I was able to waltz by the candy aisle without any desires. Unfortunately, all that stopped at the end of the third week. Little by little the cravings came back...now I'm back to being a chocoholic. I found the taste to be very mild, and the powder dissolved quickly in hot water. 27th November 2018 - Wonderful service, this company is all about customer satisfaction. 27th November 2018 - I did notice a reduction in 'Brain Fog. Unfortunately, my skin became dryer and I noticed some wrinkles appear around my eyes! Also, my skin became itchy. I found I was using more body lotion than usual. There was no noticeable difference to my hair:( I didn't notice any difference in my nails. I have one fingernail that grows to a certain length and then splits down. It split, while I was taking this product, and I filed it down; now I'm waiting to see if it will split again. If it doesn't then that will be a benefit. During use of the product I became achy, like I was coming down with flu. I was only using one level tablespoon, twice a day, instead of one heaped tablespoon twice a day. Maybe I needed more...maybe I needed less... 27th November 2018 - Of course, it's possible I was coming down with flu, and the product assisted in helping me fight it off... I'm going to continue researching bone broth* as I'm sure it must be a positive. I'm wondering if my bad gut bacteria were killed off too quickly and I didn't have enough good gut bacteria to cope. I don't know. Open to suggestions:) *I found this information from Corrina, co-owner, very helpful:- "There is a lot of confusion out there (especially online) and often search engines do not differentiate between collagen and bone broth. Just for reference, whilst collagen may not contain some of the minerals found in bone broth, the benefits that people are trying to get from boiling the bones (namely to break down the amino acids) are far greater in collagen because all the work has been done for the body and the amino acids are in their most bio-available form. It’s basically a fast track to the protein benefits of bone broth without all the boiling!"

I'm going to come back and and add to this review if I can. This is my second purchase of collagen. It takes this product up to 6 months to make big changes to your body, so don't expect fast results. That said, it's worth the wait. I've been taking it now for a month. I suffer from several things. hEDS which causes partial dislocations in my joints due to hypermobility. The pain is severe and I use a wheelchair. Alongside the dislocations other symptoms include low muscle tone and thin skin. That in turn gives a sluggish metabolism. I also suffer from lipoedema a condition in women where the body lays down fat stores in the legs, thighs, bum and arms that diet and exercise has no affect on. We need liposuction to remove it and intensive compression to stop it progressing. I have taken the collagen to try and improve my muscle tone, help with pain, improve the elasticity of my thin skin and hopefully if metabolism increases as a result, lose a little weight. I eat really well but I can't shift the 3 stone extra weight I carry. Lipoedema accounts for about half of that then slow metabolic function counts for the rest. So far, I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I weigh less than I did when I got pregnant. Usually I'm about 1 stone + up at this point. I notice a decrease in appetite, fuller faster, my skin looks more creamy and smooth and my arms feel stronger. I used to feel tired just lifting them but now I notice I'm stronger and can push myself further in my wheelchair. This is all just after one month. I'm delighted and intend to keep going with this product. I'll update each month with my progress. I think this is about the 5th tub I've bought. It doesn't last a month for me because I take more than the stated amount on the pack. It's absolutely fantastic. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and usually bed bound by this point. Yet I'm planning on making the Christmas dinner in two weeks, with my perching stool for help. That's enormous for me. This powder has changed my life. I won't stop taking it. The pain relief is fantastic and my nails, hair and skin are beautiful. I'm 33 and I don't look anything near it. I also haven't gained a single pound the whole pregnancy.

I purchased this as it was cheaper than the Great Lakes one I had initially purchased and the reviews rated it the same if not better. I have now been using this product for over 2 months, and it is amazing. My main reason for purchasing this was for joints, its definitely improved my knee joints (less pain and grating). Other effects of this are strong nails that grow very fast. Hair growing quicker and appearing shinier, healthier and thicker (my hairdresser commented on how thick my hair was since she last saw me). Skin also appears plumper and less wrinkles, work colleagues asked if I had botox! Overall I love it. I have 2 tablespoons in a cup of tea every morning, it is tasteless and dissolves in tea easily. I did once try it in milk but it took a lot longer to dissolve even though its meant to dissolve in any liquid. Some people may be put off that its made from cow bones (the same as gelatin and any kind of jelly dessert) but as I mentioned its tasteless. Unlike Great Lakes this is a British product, and all labels are in English. Comes in a useful plastic tub (if you have kids you understand the value of such tubs when you have emptied it!)

Franchement, on sent vraiment les effets de ce collagène. Que ce soit au niveau des articulations ou du bien-être général, la différence est nette. Je le mélange avec du lait, et c’est juste parfait. I’ve been using this bovine collagen brand Edible Health for a month now. Some folks use it in their smoothies, but I mix it in my morning yogurt with blueberries. Since this is unflavored collagen (which I prefer) it does not alter the taste. After using the product for a month, I noticed my fingernails need to be trimmed more frequently than prior to using the product. Which means the product is working. I ordered the product on 12/22/22 and received it 12/24/22. Overall, I recommend this brand of collagen. It is reasonably priced, pure ingredients, and comes in a recyclable tub. Based on my research of collagen products, here is what I like about this brand Edible Health Bovine Collagen: Diverse Amino Acid Profile Our bodies require approximately 20 different amino acids in order to function properly. Therefore, when looking for a collagen supplement, I wanted one with a diverse amino acid profile — the more amino acids, the better. This brand has 18 amino acids and 8 essential amino acids. Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen Though collagen can come from many different sources, bovine has been found to be the most potent and effective. Furthermore, when collagen is hydrolyzed it essentially means the amino acids within it have been broken down, so they're easier for your body to absorb. This brand has 100% pure hydrolyzed collagen. Types I & III My research recommended finding a supplement that contains collagen types I & III as these support the primary areas of concern and are the most potent. However, be wary of products that contain many more than 3 types, as it likely means the supplement is "watered down" and less effective. Edible Health’s brand of collagen has the two most potent types of collagens: Types I & III. Clinically Recommended Dosages Some brands will use quality ingredients but skimp out on dosages in order to save money. So even if you’re getting the right ingredients, if they’re not in their recommended dosages, you won’t experience the full benefits. At a minimum when looking for a collagen supplement, you want at least 9 different amino acids in its profile and is comprised of at least 90% protein. Edible Health’s brand has 18 amino acids and 12 grams of protein (92% of the 13 grams per serving). This brand also has 8 essential amino acids. Also, the amino acids in this brand of collagen are listed in grams (which is better) since other brands may use micro grams to inflate their numbers (i.e. 8,400 micro grams looks like a lot of product versus 8.4 grams). Given that the daily recommend use of collagen is in grams, the product ingredients should also be listed in grams. Edible Health uses this consistent unit of measure for its daily product consumption usage and its amino acid amounts. In my research, look for consistency in the serving size and the collagen amount. If the serving size is greater than the collagen amount (using the same unit of measure grams) that could mean there are other ingredients. You need to find out what are those other ingredients if not listed on the package. Edible Health’s brand has a serving size of 13 grams which match's the 13 grams of collagen. That’s what you want.

Je ne l'utilise que depuis 1 mois, pour l'instant je ne vois pas d'amélioration sur ma peau mais normalement les résultats ne sont visible qu'après 3 mois d'utilisation. En tout cas, ce produit a un goût neutre et se dissous très bien dans l'eau. Je n'ai ressentit aucun désagrément.
