Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen, Soothing Oat & Rich Emollients to Nourish Dry Skin, Non-Greasy, 12 fl. oz

As a fair-skinned lifelong Florida resident, former sun worshiper, and wife of someone who has had melanomas removed several times, I take protecting my skin from the sun fairly seriously. Not just when I'm going to be out in the sun for extended periods of time, but even during a normal day when I'm only exposed to the sun while walking between buildings and cars. Those rays really do affect the skin, even in small doses. Because of that, a couple of years ago I started using a lotion with SPF 15 each and every day. When I'm going to be out working in the yard or doing some activity that will mean longer exposure I'll use a stronger suntan lotion, but for the usual routine I think SPF 15 is enough. But just because I want skin protection doesn't mean I want to smell like suntan lotion or feel like I've slathered myself with some kind of greasy goo. The usual suntan lotions were not something I would be able to make myself use everyday so I went in search of a regular body lotion with SPF protection. In the past I was using a Eucerin lotion and that wasn't too bad. But it still had a little bit of a suntan-lotion-type of smell and felt a little weird on my skin so when the bottle started to run low I looked around for another brand to try. I ordered this Aveeno lotion based on the reviews and ingredients. Well, I have to say the Eucerin is out and the Aveeno is in! Very, very minimal fragrance that is nothing like suntan lotion, and it feels like normal body lotion on my skin. The price is great and the 12 oz bottle is a generous size. I'll probably order the larger size when I run out, I just wanted to start with something smaller to see if I liked it. Now I just have to get the last bit of Eucerin out of the bottle (don't you hate it when the pump won't suck up the last inch of product in the bottom of the bottle?) and then I can switch to Aveeno full time. Oh - since I started using lotion every day my skin has been much softer, smoother, and generally looks and feels better and healthier. My dermatologist is impressed. I can't give Aveeno or Eucerin credit for that, though, since I also use another brand's non-SPF lotion at night. It's just a general statement for those who are lax on using a body lotion daily. It's easy to forget to take care of the skin, especially the arms and legs, but it really does pay to keep it soft. Anyway, I do recommend the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15.

This moisturiser is thick and wonderful. Smoothes into skin and is not greasy or sticky. Love that I can get it with SPF. My only problem is although the container was sealed when I received it, the first time I used it, I thought it felt less than full. So, I weighed it on my fl. oz. scale. Wasn't sure what the weight of the bottle is, but I knew what the container should have a net of 12 fl oz. The lotion was only 10.5 fl. oz. including the weight of the container! I held the container up to the light and it was only 2/3 full. Humm, something isn't right.

I added spf lotion to my skin care routine. I never been big on taking care of my skin until after i had my first child. My skin got dry anf oily after pregnancy. Im assuming the hormones and pregnancy jack my skin up but its ok now i adopted a skin care routine to help bring youth back to my skin. I love this lotion. It works for my skin type. To protect from sun and doesnt leave my skin oily.

I've been using this stuff for years. I have very dry skin and this is one of the rare moisturizer products I've used that works as advertised (and I've used at least a dozen). It's non-greasy, absorbs easily, and keeps my skin moist virtually all day. Like everyone else, I also worry about sun exposure so I was happy to see Aveeno add SPF to their product. The new formulation is much thicker and doesn't absorb as easily or smell quite as nice as the older product. Nonetheless, it's still an excellent and highly recommended lotion.

I love this lotion and have used it for years. It’s not too light or too thick, absorbs well. My only complaint has nothing to do with the lotion but the pump. The pump can’t dispense lotion when the bottle is still about 1/3 full, not sure is this is because lotion is too thick or bad pump design, so then I need to remove pump to get to the lotion...not impossible but kind of annoying.

I love this lotion. My favorite part is the built in sunscreen. I use this regularly, and specifically with a uv light machine that is prescribed to help me with a minor medical skin condition. I have never burned using this product, even with direct uv light exposure. I much prefer it to tradition sunscreen, which I often feel is greasy and filmy (not to mention it can often discolor fabrics). This lotion is thick and easy to apply and spread. I put it on myself and my daughters in the morning to offer them sun protection. They love this lotion (being sprayed with cold sunscreen spray is one of their least favorite parts about summer and vacations). Certainly, if you plan on being out in the sun for a prolonged period, you should use traditional sunscreen. However, for day to day running around, this product is amazing.

This keeps your skin so soft. I keep a bottle close by in the summer so I can just grab it and smooth it on my legs and hands. It is not greasy and has great lasting potential, a small amount goes along way. There are also vitamins in the lotion (more like a cream) to keep you skin soft and supple. I highly recommend it for anyone who has dry skin and wants it gone.

Nice to find a body lotion that has sunscreen in (like most face moisturisers have nowadays) - quite thick, but rubs in well. Really like it.

A défaut d'Olay - Lotion pour le corps, je préfère utiliser Aveeno. C'est aussi magnifique et va très bien avec ma peau.

Excelente hidratante corporal. También la uso para la cara y es mejor que cualquiera de marca que he comprado. No es grasosa y tiene un ligero perfume agradable. Mi piel es mixta y me ha venido de maravilla. 100% recomendable.

Excellent product ! I have been using this all summer while sailing and holiday. Used higher factor sunscreen when properly out in the sun but using this as an every day moisturiser . It not smelly like sunscreen, tho does give you protection. Does an excellent job and keeps the skin nicely moisturised

Love the natural ingredients and the fact it’s a sunscreen and a moisturiser. However, and this is a big however, it’s not vegan and is sadly tested on animals. I was not aware of this so will unfortunately not be purchasing again because of this
