Hello Mie! It is recommended that you buy a bow of 15-20lb. For beginners, this pulling force range is easier to learn skills and will not feel too tired!

I'm not sure what you mean by tang. It is a 1 piece laminated long bow slightly deflex reflex ,a little wide at the knoc ends but a real soft shooting bow. center cut shelf not quite center cut. very fun to shoot. great for beginner or long time archer who wants a lighter for fun

What are the best accessories for this bow? Looking for arm & finger guards, as well as the best arrows for this particular piece.

Something others have forgotten is the bow sleeve or sock, this is important for the bow in storage to protect the bow at least a little bit, a 55 inch sleeve or sock minimum is what one will need. I say this as they are cheaper then a case which for the price of this bow is going to be fine if you are not a total ditz. If a little concerned get a padded sleeve/soft case for the bow. The other thing on might want is an arm guard as depending on the strength of bow, one could hurt themselves rather bad with the string slap on the arm holding the bow.

The close-up photo of the grip area appears to show some delamination of the fiberglass layer. Is this normal for these bows?

I have two of these bows in two draw weights (mine is 50# and my wife's is 25#). Neither has delamination or flaws after hundreds of arrows loosed. They shoot flat and consistent.
