I use mine with Verizon. In the US, Verizon, US Cellular, and the old Sprint network (now owned by T-Mobile) use CDMA. AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM. Most of the rest of the world uses GSM.

Is this worth buying i have apple music. all of my bluetooth headphones have aptx hd. if i buy this will the aptx work and make apple music sound ok?

Tuff Question I don't know what's done with aptx. the Quad Dac seems to make any lossy format sound better, but with aptx, it could be different. Sadly, If apple isn't really supporting it, it's going to be a problem The G8 really shines with HiRes or lossless, and "wired" headphones. In this case, I believe that aptx will be best on apple as it were designed for it, and for BLueTooth. G8 might be worse. I personally wouldn't suggest it sry
