Hikari® Mini Algae Wafers™ for Bottom-Feeding Tropical Fish, 3.0 oz (85g)

These mini algae wafers are good, and my fish like them! They worked well for what I needed them for, and I have no complaints so far. Overall, I am happy with this fish food!

I have small tanks, so a little bit goes a long way. I only dose 1/4 of a wafer in my 10 gallon, and my school of pygmy corys eat it within the acceptable timeframe. My neocaridina love the wafers, too. I treat the wafers as a weekly snack for my bottom feeders and they all seem to enjoy them!

Every single time that I buy hikari, my fish absolutely love it. Unfortunately I have baby bristlenose plecos and I was having to break up the normal hikari algae waivers into four pieces. I thought I would give these mini ones a try and they are the absolutely the best size for small bottom dwellers. Shrimp and snails love them too. It's just like the large size only you don't have to break them up into pieces.

These are high quality and eaten readily by my fish.

I have been keeping fish for over 25 years and these Hikari products are the best. My fish love them. They are full of the nutrition fish need to grow and thrive and apparently taste good to them. As soon as I feed them they are all over them. They come in a resealable pouch for ease of use and functionality. They have no smell and do not cloud the water. They are a great value for the money and I know my fish are getting exactly what they need ! I recommend this product for your fish along with other Hikari products. Always read and follw directions.

I use a couple variety of algae wafers for my shrimps and they seem to love these. After placing in a little feeding dish it only takes a few minutes for them to locate and shortly after pretty much all my shrimp are picking away at the wafers. Often times the Amano will carry off a piece for its own as Amanos love to do.

Have a small pleco and he just puts his face on them and l9ves them

Japanese fish food is the worlds best. An excellent product.

J'avais acheté ça pour complémenter à l'occasion mes otocinclus car ils ont nettoyé mon bac de fond en comble, mais il ne les mangent pas.

Da Otocinclus (Ohrgitterharnischwelse) bekannterweise wählerisch mit ihrem Verzehr sind, habe ich etwas gesucht was für diese Fische gemacht wird! Habe in Foren gelesen, dass das hier sehr beliebt ist, und das ist es auch! Sie stürzen sich mittlerweile darauf. Meine Garnelen (Chrystal Red) "fressen" die Tabletten in Minuten weg. Sie fallen direkt zu Boden brauchen auch eine Weile bis sie sich auflösen! Ca 30min sind sie beständig bis sie langsam zerfallen, aber so lange haben sie es selten ausgehalten. Man sollte sich auch im Klaren darüber sein, das die Tabletten echt klein sind, ca ein halben cm! Auf jeden Fall ihr Geld wert.

These mini algae wafers are the perfect size for my baby bristle nose fish, they love them. They don't make the water go yukky either, it's still crystal clear.
