If you have the money for Mogami go for it but you're not going to get any really noticeable increase in sound quality. These Fender cables are my go-to for several reasons. I use these as studio cables for recording but they'd be great for live applications too. The tweed outer jacket kind of holds a memory of its shape if you keep it wrapped or coiled between uses which is great to get it out of the way. It's also a really solid cable in that it can take a beating. Mine gets walked on by myself (accidentally), my wife, my daughter, and pets and they hold up great. The ends can come undone and you can do your own maintenance on them if you ever happen to need to. The build quality on these is so good that they'll last years before needing a new one. I only got this one because I needed a right angle plug on one end for guitars like the Jazzmaster that have an input on the front of the guitar that needs to be out of the way of the tremolo arm. The sound quality is as good as you're going to get. I mentioned before that you can get Mogami cable or some obscenely expensive cable but you're playing a game of diminishing returns there. The difference between this cable and one that's over twice as expensive is so minimal that you're not going to notice it in a mix and you're really going to be straining to hear the difference in the high end on its own. The jacks are gold plated so the connections are solid and reliable. The cable is sturdy but not overly thick. The ten footers are great for plugging straight into an amp or going from guitar to pedal board and the three footers are wonderful for going from pedal board output to amp input. Great cables, right price, I'll never use anything else.

I've used this Fender Deluxe Series Instrument cable for over 20 years now with my old upright Kay Bass and Acoustic Image Contra amp during stage performances with a PA system. It's a quality cable with well-built jacks on the ends. I have never once experienced any problems with the cable. I use the DI output of my amp to go directly to the PA mixer console for input to FOH. With this configuration, I have to walk over to the amp and turn the volume down, so my "tuning" doesn't come over the PA system while I tune the bass. Sometimes, it's not convenient to get to the amp while on-stage, as I use the amp for a monitor for myself and the other musicians on stage. So, I decided to buy a MUTE "kill" switch to place between my upright bass and amplifier, so I can "kill" the bass coming through the amp to the PA system while I tune between songs. So, I needed a cable to run from the MUTE switch to the amp. That's why I'm here today, to purchase another quality Fender cable! I trust the quality and workmanship of these Fender cables for "live" performances. If you care about your on-stage presence and providing quality sound to FOH, you'll buy and use these Fender cables! Trust me, they are worth it.

this is an excellent cable, probably the best i have ever used. do not get any buzz or humming, like the straight - angle, overall insulation is heavier than most. i prefer 20 guage or 18 copper conductor, this one is 20 guage with gold plated ends. this is as good a cable as i have ever used.

I've played musical instruments since middle school. I played a Fender bass in high school. I've always been able to rely on Fender products and this cord is no different. I get rich full sound through my Peavy Bass Amp with this cord. It's very well made with the plug areas being reinforced as one would expect. The quality of the product - as expected (high). The cord is very flexible which is always nice. The length is perfect, but, lol, I chose it - so it really should be the right length! I've been using it a few years now (and yes, I'm just getting around to posting a review now), but in my opinion - it's best to use the product and see how it holds up - prior to posting a review. I would definitely be inclined to buy this cord again. No, I'm not being paid for my review - this is 100% unbiased and based on personal use - and personal choice when it came to acquiring it. So far so good!

This is a nice, sturdy feeling cable that does the job for an electric guitar. I like the combination of the angled connection at one end and the straight connection at the other end. I also feel confidence with the Fender label being on this item.

Seems well made and works fine, but I don't know if you can tell from the product description that this cable is much thicker than a standard cable. Just something to take into consideration depending on how you plan to use it.

Un calbe de qualité suérieur, genre de cable que tu utilise des années et dont le deuil est difficile à faire en fin de vie. Il donne un look d'enfer à mes quitare vintages. Très souple au touché, agrèable et facile à enrouler. Ceux qui savent apprécier les détails vont adoré ce cable, un must pour les fans de Fender.
