T1 are still better than these, right?

No. Blind tested the T1, 1990, 1770 & a pair of $1300-dollar Technics at a high-end audio store. The T1s, to me, were too bright. By "blind", I mean literally blindfolded, letting the rep randomly swap between these 4 hi-fi headsets while standing behind me. I chose the 1770s every time. I don't know how this is possible, but the 1770 enclosures control the soundstage much better...even better than the open back 1990s. The bass on the 1770s is also impeccably rendered (supports down to 5Hz...below audible range, but I that headroom assists the dynamic range). My "reference" music was a 24-bit, 96 kHz flac of Beck's "Heart is a Drum" (masterful recording) and a few other favorites.

Will Dragonfly Red push these well?

Yes. I bought these with the dragonfly red but I can't compare to the dragonfly cobalt. So far I'd say the Red has more than enough juice to drive these.

What are these like for gaming? I have the dt770 16ohms, i just want a better sounding pair of the 770's for gaming!

The 1770s are very analytical. For gaming, I would prefer something fun with a V shaped signature.I recommend the DT770-80 for gaming. They sound much different from the other 770s.
