I am on my feet a lot, which means that over time I can get dry, thick calluses on my feet. My old callus remover broke due to age, and I am glad to have found this amazing replacement! I have found this one to be easier to use and quicker. I use this for a few minutes at the end of a shower when my feet or soaked in water. It makes my feet smoother and softer quickly. Pairing this with lotion on my feet after a shower and my feet feel softer for weeks. Love it.

I’m a type 2 diabetic I had 2 cracks in my heal I have 4 foot files that I had been using for 5 years to try to smooth out those cracks I needed a new foot file . I've tried a number of different foot scrubbers, and I finally found the perfect one. The rough side is just rough enough, and the smooth side is just smooth enough. It works quick on the foot, and works well. Cleans well too. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Replaced one that had to be 20 years old and wanted to make sure replacement was well made and wood would hold up. This one is great - the rough side is not really too rough and cleans up dead skin very quickly in the shower. The less rough side really isn't needed

I am very pleased with the seller and this product. I received my double sided wood foot file in a timely fashion, there was no damage and the seller went out of their way to send a courtesy email to ensure I was satisfied. With all the battery operated products out there, why purchase this manual one? Well, I own an Amope and I was NOT satisfied with the results. After use there were still fine dead skin all over my feet that irritatingly hitched onto my socks, slippers and embroidered comforter; therefore I decided to go back to basics. After all, when you get a professional pedicure what do they use to slough off the dead skin? They use a foot file like this one. In the shower I applied some bodywash (hair conditioner or even lotion works as well) to my feet and used the rough side first to scrub off the dead skin then I used the finer side to finish off. My feet are smooth and baby soft. Yes, you do have to put in some elbow grease but it is worth it and the results are just like you left the spa.

This is the best foot file I have ever purchased! I researched a number before I purchased this one and read all the reviews. I have purchased many different types in the past and it is hard to find a good one that isn't plastic now. This is one is fabulous. It works well and has a coarse and smooth filing side so that you can start with one and finish with the other. Be careful to not rub to hard when you first start using it or you can scrape too hard. But don't be scared to purchase it. You will not want to purchase any other one after using this one. It really is great.

All of us Amazon shoppers know any product can be a hit or miss so we check reviews and hope for the best. I don't review often but had to let folks know this product is awesome!! I bought this a few months ago and LOVE it. It has a soft cord on top of the handle which makes it hang easily inside the shower. The wood handle is smooth and LONG making it easy for all ages to hold it while it reaches down to the bottom and sides of your feet to scrub. The padding is 2 sided and quite grainy and course so go light and slow the 1st time on your soles until you know what pressure to use. I've used it daily and it's as good as new! I rinse it off after every use while in the shower. It leaves my feet as nice as when I go for professional pedicures.

This works really well at removing the dry skin. It took me 5 minutes to do both feet (dry) and after I moisturized my husband was shocked. It was like I had just had a pedicure. To be honest, I did a better job than most pedicure places that often leave a bit of dry skin. Loved it! Would definitely recommend. I only took one start off, because I’m not sure how many uses I would get from this before it dulls. Especially if you are using frequently.
