Why doesnt it go back to white drl after using turn signal? Everything works fine but after I indicate it just doesnt go back to white drl?

Maybe you wired it incorrectly. Day running lights should be white.

Would they be compatible with a 2003 R50 Mini One as the headlight is built into the hood and not the body of the car

As long as you can wire them into the headlights/ split them I don’t see why not

Can they be used as turn signals only ?

Yes, I believe you can just leave the red cable disconnected, so just the black to ground, and yellow to the indicator. This would then just trigger the indicator and not turn on the daytime light
