Neyman - From Life

A captivating book, hard to put away. The author does a great job of presenting both the personal life and the scientific achievements of Mr. Neyman (as he liked to be called). Since this is how we learn statistics now, it easy to take for granted the Neyman-Pearson paradigm shift. Reading this book and some of their original papers gives some perspective, and brings life into it. Wonderful, highly recommended!
