I used this for grounding on a couple of electric guitars. Yes, copper shielding tape is more of the standard for that kind of thing, but this tape was much cheaper and got the job done. In one case, the switch, volume and tone pots, and the output jack were all mounted on the pickguard with no shielding, leading to some small but noticeable hum. I made a pseudo control plate on the bottom of pickguard with this tape, and it works great. The other case was where a bridge was grounded via a small wire touching the bridge posts and the control plate, and using the vibrato could cause it to come ungrounded. Running some of this tape from the post to the control plate, and letting the wire sit on top of the tape, provided the extra protection needed. Nice stuff and highly recommended!

This is one of the few safe types of tape to keep heat tape or heat mats without adhesive securely on the tank. Would recommend.

Watched a YouTube video to fix a common problem with ice maker in Samsung fridges where you needed to take it apart and seal the gaps internally with some aluminum tape. This does the job perfectly as it's not too wide so easier to handle, and while not a lot, is more than enough for this particular job (had plenty left). As a side note, the hack completely fixed my ice maker water leaking problem!

I used this to make a reflector for a bulb backlighting a modified cup holder from a 1994 Miata, and it worked great. High adhesion, reflective and I liked the small roll for the occasional hobby-type work. In case anyone's interested, the early Miata console has a bulb for backlighting the ashtray. If you swap out the ashtray for the cup holder option, the bulb is blocked. I notched out the small section of cup holder blocking the bulb, and to enhance lighting added this tape to the hidden part underneath. (I also added a green sleeve to the white bulb.)

This tape worked out super duper ! I purchased the chrome color to mend my car sun shade back after 2 small tears appeared. I didn’t want to throw the sunshade away because it is custom to my vehicle so this tape seemed to be the most ideal product. Im very pleased with the results. Now, I haven’t seen how it will hold up through the real heat of the Texas summer yet but the adhesive was strong during the application and in seconds the repair was complete.

The roll is tiny! This is NOT the same size as duct tape. I didn't verify that before I bought it. They have enlarged the photo!! Make sure you have read the size dimensions before purchasing! But, once you do use it, it works better than duct tape where I've applied it. The duct tape keeps coming off but this stuff is sticking. Would buy again, but a LARGER size roll.

Its strong adhesive holds up well in various conditions, making it perfect for repairs and sealing. I’ve used it for insulation and even in my crafts. It’s easy to work with and truly vapor resistant.

I thought this was the same as what I get at Lowes for $7. ...it wasn't. what I get at Lowes is 3 times as much and 3 times as thick. this is cheap but really not worth it.
