Hutzler Lopol Nylon, Set of 2 Cooking Spoon, 11", White

Bought these for father in law so he does not scrape his little frying pan . Great for turning meat over and great long handle on it .He loves them !

It's plastic for sure--the end was a bit rough so I used a light sandpaper on it--was fine then. I love the angle, and I will admit I was watching closely for melting since the pan was pretty hot. Nothing went wrong but I will be careful because I don't know this but it seems hot oil could be a problem. I will have to try it out to see. Don't think a left hand person would appreciate this spatula too much because of the angle. It was thin enough for me to turn eggs. That made me happy. So many of the spatulas I have been buying are just too thick. So the price is good, I'll experiment to see if it is just what I need-time will tell.

My old spatula broke, and I needed a new one quick for flipping my pancakes. I wasn't too sure about these, but I was desperate, so I went ahead and made the purchase.While they work, I am not sure how long they will last. They do flex easily, and flipping something heavy like a big omlet may not end up well. I guess we will see.My biggest negative with them however is the angled blade. I am left handed, and the angle just is awkward for right minded people like me. You kind of have to "come at" differently than you do with a straight flipper. Right handers likely won't notice the difference, although my wife, who is right handed, wasn't fond of it either.While I don't mean to sound negative here, as many reviewers really like these, I have continued my search for a replacement as trusty as my old spatula, but felt my experience may help another lefty out there and save them a couple of bucks.

You just have to know the whole story of these amazing scrapers!!When I married my husband, he had a couple of these and we both loved cooking with them. As kids came along, of course, they used them as well, and one day, the brown one just kind of disappeared, (probably "moved out" with one of my daughters but nobody says anything)Having just one became an ongoing challenge, as it was always in the dishwasher or dirty. As a family (all 7 kids) we started hunting for a replacement. We tried everything that even remotely resembled this, but to no avail. They were just extinct!You can imagine when a short time ago, I was talking with my son and this topic came up. He said. "mom, we are gonna find those" I got out the magnifying glass to try and read the name on it, and he started searching again. It took him about 20 minutes, and said "eureka!" I found it!! I couldn't believe my eyes! And to have it in White and Red! What a JACKPOT!Of course, we both placed an order for them! I posted to the rest of my kids, and said we found them! One son responded ... WHAT? YOU GOT TO SEND ME THAT LINK NOW!!!!!The chase is over, and my kids and I are again enjoying cooking with this scraper. It is by far the best one I have EVER used! It flexes but is still strong enough to chop (break up ground beef etc) It cleans like a breeze, and of course, I had to have both colors! It has taken a prominent place on my utensil rack, and I have ditched most all other inferior scrapers in favor of this!I know you will enjoy this. Buy enough to keep you going for 40 years!!

Handy spoon, but wish it was sturdier.

These may look thinner and more basic than some other spatulas, but they are more durable and easier to clean than some name brands I've had in the past. The thinner front edge allows you to more easily get under eggs and other thing that may want to stick to the pan.

Nylon cooking forks are the cats meow. They have fallen out of favor in the last decade or so. Very hard to locate one these days. I was super pleased to find this product, in a two pack, image my surprise! Double the sturdy, easy to clean, perfect cooking utensil!!

I had one for over 10 years and needed replacement. I have looked for this replacement forever!! The best thing EVER for flipping bacon and of course waffles

Good price and as advertised

These are ok and work just fine, but not the greatest. They are fair value for the money that I'd rate as a solid 3 star. They are a little more flexible than I'd like and the angle of the spatula blade is a little steeper than is practical. (Being flatter would be a little more practical.) These are are fairly nit-picky comments and are likely specific to my preferences.

They are great for medium to light duty serving food, eggs, pancakes and such. They are great for flipping eggs slide right under no problem. Arrived quickly and reasonable price. If you need heavy duty this is not quite there. Will be ordering more always handy to have extra around
