HANG IT UP AND IT WILL LAST!! NOT A CHEW TOY!!
Mine has been used with multiple dogs my mountain cur, pitties and GSD and shows no signs of wear or breaking down. BUT when I am finished with it I put it in my pocket or hang it up! I saw the complaints my dog chewed through it or I gave it to my two dogs and it didn't last ok that's not what it's for. it isn't intended to be CHEWED on! this is a tug toy. A tug training reward. That means excited dog bites the hell out of it tugs, pulls, yanks, shakes his head and then let's go of it. No jaw open closing repeatedly! It is an interactive toy for you and your dog to enjoy a game of tug not to be left on the floor! A wooden table leg CAN be chewed through why would anyone expect a fabric toy to be for chewing and gnawing on. However while yes fabric when used properly it's been a durable toy. Be more mindful people your carelessness and uninformed reviews hurt this man's business. Amazon doesn't look at weither you use it properly just the rating average. I've never had an instruction manual with a flippin tug toy it should be self explanatory but no this business owner is doing absolutely everything he can to promote proper use of his products to keep from getting bad reviews from people who let dogs use these as chew toys help him! Read the instructions and be informed! Also the gentleman provides very nice customer service as I inquired over the instructions and best methods for drying the toy after an accident with water. He is very helpful, polite and quick to respond.

Seems durable and pup loves it.
I’ve had this for a week and had at least 10 to 15 minutes of daily tug with my 76 lb golden retriever. He’s demolished many rope toys and I’ve been concerned about him eating the frayed ends, so figured I’d try a different material. This toy seems very durable and my dog loves it! My only complaints are that it could afford to be a bit longer, and the handle gets uncomfortable fairly quickly for me. If the handle were a little longer or wider, this would be the perfect tug toy!Updated 03/23/20: 1.5 months in and the handle is torn, and I’m not surprised. Hoping that I can tie it to a rope and continue to use this toy because Ziggy is obsessed.Updated 01/25/21: Nearly a year and going strong. Ziggy doesn’t play with this daily now, but he still thrashes and chews on this toy every now and then. Not a single fray. I still wouldn’t leave him unattended with it, but I’m impressed. Wish it was offered in a longer length. I’d buy more.

Great training toy!
Most important thing I would like to say to anyone contemplating this toy, it is NOT a chew toy. Some customers gave poor reviews because they did not read the description all the way. It is very clear this is a training toy. We have a mini Aussie that we are training for agility and she loves the toy, motivates her to listen to our commands.Well made, made in the USA (that's really important to us).High recommend, however, you MUST watch your pet so they do not shew it up.

Sturdy tug of war toy
My pug is 8 1/2 years old now so she isn't able to keep up like she used to playing ball with my other 2 younger dogs. She usually ends up just sitting and watching them. She loves tug of war so I decided to try this, she LOVES it! Now while they're playing ball together I can play with her with this and she gets some exercise without needing to run a lot. Seems sturdy, thick material, hope it holds up. I wouldn't use this for a chew toy but for tug of war it seems perfect.

The Only Bite Toy That Lasts
I have bought two of these and will soon buy my third. I have a Pitt that loves to hang and swing. I’ve bought all kinds of ropes and tug toys for aggressive chewers; and, they usually don’t last more than a day. The only reason I’ve bought more than one of these is actually my fault. If I’m not paying attention, he will jump too high and grab the handle. It still takes the handle being bitten and pulled on about five times for the seam to start to break. As for the French linen, it is the only material I’ve found that lasts.

Great toy, great price.
My dogs love this toy! I have two toys from this company, both are well made and so far, durable. This linen one is great for a younger dog whose mouth & teeth are still developing. Also, perfect fit for the back pocket of your jeans!

Great for getting the puppy away from tug-o-leash
I carry this in my pocket on walks for extra-bounct days. We can tug and walk, or pause outside the house for a little tussle, or I can redirect leash-tugging games onto this toy. Not perfect, because of course she wants to bite higher, but she can get a pretty good grip, even with baby teeth, and have a good feisty game. We don't let her chew this outside of tugging games.

HARD PASS!! Not for any water activity or chew
DO NOT BUY!!! First it states pull, tug, fetch toy. When it comes it has a tag that states do not like dog chew.Played fetch with my dog, had to ring it out multiple times as it kept sinking. Lots of money spent on a toy thar lasted 4 hours. It was durable so that’s why it even got on Star. EXTREMELY disappointed. If it was sunk somewhere in the lake I’d send it back!!!
