Fabulous upgrade or replacement for the stock ear pads. Firstly, while I do not have a way to objectively measure the improvement in attenuation these provide over the stock pads, I can say that it at least conforms to eyeglasses or eye protection much better than the stock pads. As such, it is reasonable to expect some improvement in sound attenuation performance. Secondly and probably more notable is the increase in comfort. These are very soft and compliant and the difference here is very noticeable. Other considerations are the perfect fit to the Howard Leight Impact Sport and ease of installation. Highly recommend this. My earpros are over 12 years old, still work very well and this gives it another lease on life but also improves on the original.

The Howard Leights are great for their price but they do get uncomfortable after a couple hours of constant wear. Especially factoring in eye pro or cooler weather. These gel pads are very comfortable and provide a great deal around my ears and glasses without putting unwanted pressure on my temples or pinching my ears. Very easy to install with secure fitment. 100% worth the upgrade. I'm ordering pads for every headset I've got.

I'm super pleased with these replacement pads. They are soft and comfortable and create a good seal around the ear. On the farm we have 6 sets of earmuffs - we try to have a set by each piece of machinery. We have several old Bilson's and then a few newer Howard Leight by Honeywell, L3's. I'm pleased to say that these replacement pads fit both of those models. The earmuffs themselves are indestructible - but the ear pads do harden and crack over time. It's so nice to be able to replace the ear pads at a reasonable price and keep using the original earmuffs. They fit right in to the 8 "tabs" in the ear cup and are held securely. These also have a 3M adhesive patch in the ear pads and you can remove the paper "cover" on that if you want them held in more securely. I did not use that - the tabs work just fine for me. 5 Stars for the comfort, the fit, and the value.

Just as advertised. Noise cancellation is very good and gel ear pads are a great upgrade. Price was right.

I wear my Impact pro earmuffs 8hr/per for environmental work noise. Within a few months the factory pads have lost almost all flexibility. So when turning my head or leaning over gaps open between the pad and my head letting sound through. My new ProHear pads are very soft and conforming, and spread the pressure out around the ear without concentrating it to smaller pressure points. The grove in the middle makes them like a double seal, even if I twist enough or have hair in the way to cause the outer seal to open the inner one is unaffected. Besides actually sealing and blocking the sound, I can't tell if there is any increased sound reduction from these pads, nor does the manufacturer claim it, however similarly available pads did. This may be due to the condition of my old pads. I normally wear my safety glasses arms canted above the pads because of how hard the old pads were. I'm surprised that I can wear my glasses like normal and actually can't even feel them under my ear, and they seal just fine. *note I haven't tested this long term. I can even put on and remove my glasses without removing the earmuffs. I am curious how long they will last, due to the "ultra-thin sheet of polyurethane" so I won't comment until I have used them longer than a week. The Cons are a little nit-picky, but there were very few reviews for these when I got them so I'll give all the info I can: *The pads feel like a thin bag full of gel, this allows the earmuffs to "shift around" when moving, compared to my old hard pads that felt more secure in place. *Like a bag full of gel, they seem like an ice/heat pack. They are cold when you put them on, take a while to warm up, and when worn for longer periods of time, do not dissipate the heat. *The inside ear hole edge is a little sharp. This combined with the greater ability for the earmuffs to shift around means I have to readjust them sometimes, to move my earlobe away from the edge. I would like to try to round that edge over but do not want to cause a separation between the thin polyurethane layer and the backing, as I have seen from an amazon customer image of a similar product. Overall I am so far very pleased with these pads, and hope they last as long as described.

I got these for my Impact Sport electronic shooting muffs. Where the stock pads on them always hurt my ears after an hour or so of wear, these turned the earmuffs into something I could wear for multiple hours with no complaints. It's a small investment to make your gear much more pleasant to use.
