Does it have 5/10/15 PSI weights?

Although this canner rates at 0-20 PSI for the regulator, it vents at a little over 13 PSI. If you need to get something to 15 psi just add 30-60 minutes extra. I do not think it would be possible to hit 15-20 unless you do something like adding small washers on top of it. I tried to get it above 13.4 psi and it just jiggles like crazy and and vents water and steam at a rate that is unacceptable. If you are using this to steralize grain spawn you should be fine. Just add 30 minutes to your time. I do 2 hours

How do you close & reopen the lid? It has a part on lid that goes into canner handle. Nothing in Manuel.

I am a professional chef. On the part of the handle that locks into the base, there is a metal double safety valve. When there is enough pressure built up to be dangerous if you open it, the safety valve rises and you cannot open the lid. It locks it. When the little metal cylinder inside the safety valve drops, you can just twist the lid open counter-clockwise. It closes by twisting clockwise and the little spring mounted plastic piece in the lid handle will click into the handle piece on the pot itself. Can it be used on induction cooktop ?

If the pressure cooker does not say compatible with induction cooktop, then don't do it. It has something to do with the extreme heat an induction burner produces. It would not be good for your pot. There are quiet a few pressure cookers that say "induction compatible". and they will fair well with the intense heat.
