American Soft Linen 100% Cotton Luxury Turkish Towels, 3 Piece Towel Set

These are great towels, soft and absorbent. I have them in 3 colors. They are rather linty, so be sure to wash before using and expect dryer lint in the initial and subsequent washes.

I ordered dark grey. These don't look dark grey and the packaging just says "Grey." There's also a light grey option, so I don't know whether I actually received the dark grey or the light grey. These look like medium grey to me, which is not what I wanted and not what I ordered. Not too thick or too thin, which is good. My first impression was that they're not especially soft. But I guess they're kind of soft. So they're okay in that respect. But I really dislike not knowing if I was sent the color I ordered. If so their dark grey isn't dark as pictured. Even though these were on sale, they were still over $20, which is more than I usually spend, as I try to be very careful and find the most economical options. I did a lot of searching for these and I actually thought they would be a good color and noticeably soft. And actually I was glad reviews said they were thin as I'm 55 and get overheated easily. But they're not thin or very soft. Just soft-ish. I guess that's the best you can often find in terms of softness these days. I was going to talk to customer service to ask about the color, but there were technical difficulties so I couldn't chat with the customer service person. Right now I'm deliberating about whether or not to return these. Very frustrating as I need new towels now. And I have a back injury so...if I do return I hope I'm mobile by then. Free pick up for special circumstances should be available. I will say Amazon is pretty good for customer service. Temu has great jewelery but quite poor customer service policies, totally inflexible. Amazon is better in that resist. Maybe I can get Amazon to call me back as that is usually another option. But I don't they know any better than I do whether what I received is supposed to be the light or the dark grey. It should say clearly which, not just "Grey."

Disappointed in this towel set, nice looking, soft, but it doesn't absorb well and find I have to dry off two or three times. I've wondered if it's 100% cotton and coated with something, because it certainly doesn't even feel like my other cotton towels coming off the drying rack after washing. I bought 3 sets, and regret spending the money.

I was quite pleasantly surprised at how much I actually liked these towels. First, the color is that beautiful electric blue. The towels are soft and not scratchy and, even though they have a decorative banding, it is not the stiff kind of banding where you lose a fourth of your towel acreage, I like them enough that I’m going to buy a few more sets.

I was tired of my mismatched towel sets, so I went with one color; the old ones went into the donation box. These are good quality. Very little shrinkage. I bought a set of 4 bath towels (not extra large, but adequate), 4 hand towels, and two sets of the 3-in-1 set (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth). I think the price isn't too bad, as well.

Summary: Good value, soft and absorbent, with one hard to ignore flaw. These towels shed. In full: While I can't complain about the value and that these aren't necessarily bad towels, I'm still using them because I don't feel like buying new ones, there is still one thing that was immediately noticeable about them... the fuzz. The first thing I noticed about these is that they are incredibly fluffy and soft, I touched them and was like "Wow, for this price?" but when I got out of the shower and used the full body towel for the first time I ended up covered in small black strands from the towel. I had already washed and dried the set before using it, but nevertheless I was covered in fuzz. It is highly absorbent and is enjoyable to use otherwise.... but I was ending up covered in fur after every use for a while. It seems to go away after, but it took a few runs through the washer and dryer before that happened. Again, I like them and use them, but if you don't like being covered in fuzz for the first month maybe try something else.

They’re a beautiful color and match my bathroom perfectly. They’re large and soft and a joy to use after a shower.

Finalmente ho avuto il piacere di ritrovare gli ‘asciugamani di una volta’: ottimi, assorbenti, soffici ecc. È il secondo set che prendo. Si lavano perfettamente. Se fossero disponibili in altri colori, li prenderei subito.

These are lovely towels....very little lint when washed the first time. Did not fade in color. Good quality for the price.
