Liar (Voyeur Series) [Cole, Fiona] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Liar (Voyeur Series) Review: Age Gap/ Secret Romance - Age gap, forbidden romance, secrets, steamy/ hot chemistry with incredible characters. "Liar" picks up two years after an unforgettable night that Kent and Olivia share in the prequel story "Watch With Me." I highly recommend reading that first because it explains how Kent and Olivia first meet at Voyeur, where Kent discovers that Olivia is actually the niece of his best friend and business partner. Itโs been two years since their steamy night together, and neither can stop thinking about each other. After some back and forth, they finally dive into a fun and secret romanceโfar beyond what they ever expected. However, Olivia is struggling with her fear of disappointing her uncle, whose opinion means the world to her, and that could put everything at risk. I loved Kent and Oliviaโs story. This is another great story in the amazing Voyeur series! Amazing Forbidden Age Gap Romance
Liar reminded me once again what I absolutely love about forbidden age gap romances. Full of tension, passion, and angst this delicious slowburn kept me captivated until the last page. I loved Kent and Olivia's relationship from their witty banter and ability to see the other for who they truly were to their steamy moments that threatened to cause my Kindle to burst into flames. As if that wasn't enough to keep me riveted I was then hit with all the feels and just like that I was in reader's heaven. Liar is a must read if you enjoy fantastic feel good reads with plenty of heat to singe your finger and lots of feels that you just can't get enough of.

Stuck between 3 and 4 stars.
Written in dual first person POV. Lots of sexy times and some humor. Kent is great but Olivia is kind of a mess. We met Olivia in book 1 of the series, aptly title Voyeur, as the female MCโs best friend. Then we donโt really see her again until this book. While all of the MCs from books 1-4 make some kind of appearance in this book, this is probably the only book in the series, aside from book 1, that can truly be read as a standalone. The plot is fairly simple with no surprises. Oliviaโs reluctance to tell Uncle Daniel about her relationship with Kent is their main obstacle. A couple of other potential issues are brought up but then mostly dismissed. Olivia is from a wealthy family and she believes that her parents only expect her to marry well, instead of creating a future for herself. Daniel always saw her potential, so it makes sense that she wouldnโt want to jeopardize that relationship. Her logic behind not telling him is flawed and it truly shows her age and immaturity. Olivia says that because no one has any expectations of her, she doesnโt apply herself and doesnโt think about her future. Again, no logic. The author wants the readers to think that Olivia is strong and in control of herself yet she doesnโt care about college or finding her passion. I just donโt get it. The author went in the extreme opposite direction with Carina in books 2 and 4 - father expects nothing, therefore Carina works her butt off to prove him wrong. I just couldnโt wrap my brain around Olivia which in turn pulled me out of the story. HFN that occurs soon after the plot resolution. Overall, the book was fine and Iโm glad that I borrowed it from KU but I wonโt read it again. I will continue to book 6 in order to finish the series.

A sexy age gap romance
I love coming back to the Voyeur world. This time with Kent and Olivia. Their story is steamy and forbidden. I absolutely loved Olivia, even when I got annoyed with her. I understood why she did, or didn't do in this case. Olivia's a character that I saw part of myself in. I also loved the way she teased and challenged Kent. It was fun to watch him squirm a little bit. Oh, Kent... Dirty talking Kent. I liked him. Olivia and Kent were right for one another, even with the age difference. Sometimes I forgot of the age gap. One thing I probably would have liked is a bit more deeper connection between Olivia and Kent. The friendships and the relationship between Olivia and her uncle Daniel were amazing. It was great seeing Oaklyn. I forgot how funny she is, and she was very good to Olivia. Liar is low angst, a sexy, forbidden romance between a young woman and her uncle's best friend. There are cameos of a few characters from the previous books. I can't wait to read Daniel's. I'm hoping to see more of Daniel and Kent's bromance.

Loved it! Age gaps are not my go to but this one was executed perfectly and I just love Fiona Coleโs writing! I have followed the whole series and was keen to find out how the story for Kent and Olivia was going to play out given all the barriers - it did not disappoint. The chemistry between the two was off the charts ๐ฅ๐ฅ and it kept you on the edge of your seat how they kept playing with Fire the whole way through. I enjoyed that the hurdles were realistic and whilst they fell in love within a bubble - there was depth about how it would work in the outside role. I loved that (without spoilers) the other parties did not act out and make it about them - so many of them react in a selfish way for an extended when all is revealed. Loved how they grew and developed together. Anyway I could go on for ages..... the main point being donโt miss this story....

I loved Liar the story has everything I love in a romance novel. A bit of taboo-ish, the age gap, the humor, the romance, the sex scenes, everything wrapped in a nice story telling. I couldn't stop reading.

This book is the definition of age gap spice, and I am here for it! It had romance with spice, in a perfect balance that made me fall more in love with Olivia and Kent every time they were together. This was such a perfect play on falling for the older man who happens to be your uncle's best friend trope! So steamy and spicy!

Another amazing story in the Voyeur universe. Liar began as a newsletter treat, but it has become so much more. Never something so wrong felt so right.
