Can this material withstand being ironed, so it can be decorated with iron-on patches without being damaged?

The material is quite thick, you can attempt to add iron patches just carefully though

Do you need to lock the back in order for it to be smellproof? I have no need to actually lock the bag, only want to ensure t can store and carry the

I always lock mine, but I don't think doing so is absolutely necessary; however, you may want to if the bag will get a lot of tumbling around or movement while being carried. There are two zippers that zip to the center to close and lock. If kept unlocked, they might have a tendency to separate and your contents would spill out or become "fragrant".

Is the shipping package discrete

Thanks for your question, shipment will be packed and shipped by Amazon, so it is a regular Amazon package

Dose it come with the weed in the picture?

The bag only have rolling plate and baggies in the picture, the weed in the picture just indicates "indended use" of this bag, sorry for confusion.
