Gold Medal Premium Quality All Natural Whole Wheat Flour, 5 lb

Got these at an excellent price. Good quality flour and healthier than all-purpose. The texture of the flour itself is consistent enough but the texture is more dense than AP flour due to it not being as processed.

They are nice and they get the job done!

It is a very large bag. I got it cause hard to find in store, to replace white floor. I slow cooked a corn beef in elect. skillet than use it to make gravy. It tasted great , not the blaw taste of wheat noodles and mac ya get at store. Ya might call it the healthy choice. Will be buying again.

I use this flour for 100% whole wheat bread, which I bake myself every week, in proportions of about 2/3 this flour and 1/3 pastry whole wheat. It's not the best whole wheat flour I've used for bread, but it's good enough - I like a robust bread texture, and the slightly coarser grind works well for that when combined with pastry whole wheat. However, my last monthly shipment was delayed twice (this is the second time in a year that's happened) and when it finally arrived, it was a month past the "Best By" date on the package, there were moth larvae growing in it, it smelled rancid, and when I used it in a loaf of bread (which I had already started before I opened the sealed bag and discovered the moth larvae, and couldn't afford to waste all the other ingredients), the bread was bitter, at which point I sniffed the flour and found it smelled rancid. I'd rather skip a month than receive food that's been sitting in the warehouse too long. Does Amazon need my $5.29 THAT badly?? Tried to request a refund, and clicked through a zillion screens, but in the end, but there was no way to do so. I guess Amazon is willing to go to any lengths to keep my $5.29, whether I got what I paid for or not. They have become too big to be held accountable. I was going to give them another chance, but when I was unable to request a refund, I cancelled my subscription. I'll buy local instead. It costs more, but at least I'll be able to see what I'm getting before I hand over my hard-earned dollars.

Short shelf life

It’s Gold Medal Flour. There’s nothing really special about it. I needed it during a snowstorm and it was delivered in just a few hours. This is more of a testament to the driver than to the product.

This flour is to die for, talk about quality and taste it’s out of this world , this wheat flour is so pure and refined, it makes great fried Bow tied dumplings fried in Olive oil didn’t think it would make such great dough much less tastes so grest

I love working with this whole wheat flour. Bread comes out moist and delicious. I also use this for my starter dough
