E12 Candelabra Socket,TWDRTDD Black 3-Pack Candelabra Base Lamp Holder Light Socket Black (Full Uno Thread and Ring)

A favorite lamp toppled and the weight of the glass shade broke the light socket. I initially thought it'd be possible to repair but alas... This item contained the exact same parts as were originally installed. It was honestly more work to remove the broken socket parts than it was to install the new parts. Good as new! Sure, I only needed only one but I would have gladly paid the same price for just the one.

Worked on exactly as expected.

These work for my purpose which was a halloween project. As is says in one of the photos this is a self locking lamp holder so if you put it together for fitting without hooking up the wires as I did it will be very hard or next to impossible to get it apart. Other than that they seem to be good quality for the most part.

Just what I needed

As the other reviews have said this does not fit the bulb meant for an E12 socket. It is not that difficult to put it together, the bulb just doesn’t fit! Of course, I am surprised that the manufacturer is aware that the bulb doesn’t fit yet they continue to send this fraudulent product out

I used these to fix an antique lamp that used these type sockets. I had never seen these sockets before and glad I found them on Amazon. Just be careful not to screw the socket together until all wires are tightened because these sockets lock in place once screwed together. Great price for 3, too!!!

Perfect little adapters. I recommend either a little talcum powder or Vaseline if you need to remove the bulbs frequently.

The instructions and pictures shown on the web are unclear and misleading, which is why I gave this 3 stars. However, after studying the socket and looking at the pictures, I found that this DOES fit E12 bulbs as advertised. One of the intentions of this socket is that it is to be used with a "lamp pipe" which has threads matching that of the 3rd figure shown, where it states to "close the lid." This figure is actually the bottom of the socket facing up! If you were to look at the face pointing down in this same picture, you would find it easily accepts an E12 bulb. To further avoid confusion, looking into the threaded tube you will notice a "divider" with a hole at about the 25%/75% mark inside of the tube. The end with 75% clear space available is where the wire connector goes, as shown in the 2nd picture. Screwing the "lid" into the tube with the wire connector in place is what then establishes the socket. I hope this helps others. By the way, I ended up needing this socket to screw into an illuminated 3D model I printed, so the external threads were important to me.

Sockets were an exact fit for replacement of a 30 year old lamp. Well made and easy to use. Very pleased.

Bought these to replace sockets in a light fixture that we couldn't find bulbs for. Swapped them out and now can use chandelier bulbs that a readily available.

Poor quality plastic. It brakes easily.
