Samsung Galaxy A50, 64GB, Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

First time buying a phone on Amazon. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Need Google maps internet and text not much so I needed something simple. I've had this phone for a while now and it's been great. Only thing to note is there is a small lag when going to the internet but minimal. I will buy again when I need to.

Is 4G phone. Decent price. Thin, fairly lightweight, fairly comfy hold, esp with the case I bought with textured edges for good grip. Previous phone an old "mini", but went 'dino'. Got this before a trip out of U.S. ⚠️Assumed ATT carried 4G SIMs still, as local tower signal is still 4G, but store only had 5G SIMS! - & guy didn't ask which version this phone was before trying SIM install. Won't work, & blew use of my functioning old phone enabling 5G SIM for use! 😡 (learned long after there's no database as to what phones are which "G" version, & phone internal "info" doesn't specify!🤨- thousands of variant phones among all the brands.) Had to do last min buy there of newer I didn't want- no time before trip to do otherwise- had to have working phone!!💥》》This 4G one's still useful- works on wifi, & useful for backup of my photos from other one. Also extra apps on here & fav podcasts etc. Saves on memory on other phone. Handy for travel in place of tablet for such. Wish I'd known to get 5G version, because I prefer THIS one. (Other is a brick!)

Returning this phone for a complete credit. Earlier this year; all 3G phones are obsolete and cannot be used by AT&T. I was in the store for over an hour today only to find out that this was actually a 3G phone and cannot be activated. AT&T told me to return it as it was useless; no calls out or in and no internet service. The phone was in pristeen condition but that does not help if you cannot use it. Also the charging cord does not work...it shows to check your connection when you plug it in. I had to use another cord just to charge the phone. Maybe I just got a bad deal; and I am to get a total refund; but my advise is not to buy this phone from this seller.

I've had this song for a few days now. I'm very pleasantly surprised with the build quality and functionality of the fold. It doesn't feel like a mid range phone. There wasn't a scratch on it. It was in all new packaging didn't even have the plastic wrap taken off yet. The screen is beautiful the battery life is incredible. It worked as soon as I put my SIM card in, so it really is unlocked. If you need a new android phone, I highly recommend this one!

The phone I received was not a factory unlocked phone. It was a Verizon phone that had been carrier unlocked. It had the preinstalled Verizon apps that cannot be uninstallled. The phone itself looked to be in good shape and seemed to work fine but I plan to return it since it isn't factory unlocked. It was well packaged in generic packaging with a generic charger and cable as expected with a renewed item. For someone okay with a carrier unlocked phone instead of a factory unlocked one I think it would be a good purchase considering the price difference.

I love the quality and the performance of the phone. It is a good phone with a great camera. It is easy to use, the size is wonderful, good memory and great storage.

I can't comment on battery life or anything for that matter. It works fine, but the issue is, due to Cricket's new changes, they aren't adding any new phones, to services, that aren't running 4G or higher. This phone runs on 3G and is not compatible with my network. This would have been most helpful information had it said "3G" in product description. Now I have to return it and find my daughter something reasonably priced, that is compatible!

This is a general review for the Samsung A50 phone. I dropped mine after 4 years and the screen cracked. This is going to be its replacement. An exact duplicate. My A50 was originally introduced in December of 2019, and I've enjoyed it all along. This replacement was $100 bucks. The reason I stayed with the A50 was... 1st: I enjoy the look and feel of the phone. I don't use a case. 2nd: Even though Samsung has stopped giving software updates to this phone, as of 2022, Samsung will continue to provide Security updates for this phone at least until 2026. I'll get a new phone then.

Llevo 3 años con el A50 y acabo de comprarle uno a mi hija. Es un excelente teléfono; por supuesto que hay otros mejores, pero esta herramienta cumple con todas las necesidades de trabajo es rápida, fuerte, elegante y siempre se ve actualizada....excelente equipo.
