Panasonic 20pc AA Batteries Super Heavy Duty Power Carbon Zinc Double A Battery 1.5v

These batteries have functioned well in the short time I have had them in use. The 4-packs are convenient, there has been no leakage, and the size has been fine. The battery life also seems to be fine, though I'll update this review if it is higher or lower than expected. The one minor issue with this product is the printed "use by" date. It's stamped in miniscule numbers on the bottom of the batteries, and I had to locate a magnifying glass to be able to read them. The dates were fine, but it shouldn't be this difficult!

If you have batteries that leak in certain devices, especially if you just put batteries in then leave them like in seasonal things you only take out once per year or toys/devices which are very infrequently used, then switch to these if those batteries leak. They won't last as long as normal alkaline batteries (not a huge amount less), but they absolutely will not leak, damage things, or cause you to clean up green/white gunk from leaking batteries. My smart door lock makes batteries leak with EVERY set of Energizer and Duracell batteries I've run through it, except for expensive lithium batteries, but lithium have a less-predictable lifespan with the way the chip is programmed on the lock...they show up as 70-100% then quickly drop. Other batteries, like these, have a linear drop in a more predictable fashion, and for some reason the lock also advocates against lithium batteries. I'm glad I have these!

Classic reliable battery no leaks no issues great value.

bought these because my outdoor clock needed them; my clock still does not keep correct time. Not the fault of these batteries, they at least work.

Good non-alkaline batteries for clocks. Alkaline batteries voltage will sometimes make a clock run too fast or slow. When i replaced my clocks battery with this battery the time went from ‘too slow’ to perfect.

Works Well

I got a clock that recommended the carbon zinc batteries. I had to replace the battery after about 6 months, so they don't have as long of life as an alkaline battery.

I don't know if it's the batteries or the clock itself ~ I've replaced these batteries 3 times now (with the same batteries from these packs) and the clock stopped working within 2 weeks. The clock is VERY HEAVY and I have to get up on a ladder to take it down and put it back up. It's a beautiful clock, but it just isn't worth risking a fall... It's a shame really.

Great price for heavy duty batteries and I like that they come in individually packaged groups of four.
