Great clean fish to serve as a staple in your diet
I regularly eat tinned fish, having it multiple times per week. I usually have tuna, mackerel, and sardines, and supplement it with various other things like octopus, cod liver, sprats, trout, oysters, etc. Sardines, however, make up the mainstay, and lately I've been preferring quality sardines in water with low salt. These are pretty good sardines. Nice and meaty, not really bony at all. Skin still on them for the most part. Just on their own they are a clean snack - I like having them for lunch, especially if I'm doing physical work that day, I'll usually have a couple cans. If I want to dress them up a bit, I'll have light salt and a little bit of olive oil, they season well. Sometimes I'll have a different tinned fish in oil and seasonings and pour the remainder over these. This is to say, they make a solid foundation for your tinned fish rotation, the equal of tuna anyway. I'm not sure the premium you pay for no salt is worth it. Flavor-wise these and the regular are very similar, I can hardly tell <70mg from >120mg. You can certainly try the no-salt to see if you can tell, but unless you are on a strict low-sodium diet the regular sardines in water should be fine.Would recommend. I'll probably be ordering them again myself.

For sardines, these are the best.
Best sardines on the market. Not slimy, not fishy, not to salty. Taste very similar to tuna. These are firm and hold well onto my fork. Perfect for high protein, easy and quick meal. I carry several in my bag.

Best investment for dog
I have a German shepherd that has a specialized diet and fish is part of it. The water packed with no added salt is the best for that. Buying a bulk pack of these is a far better investment. If you use a whole can a day, it lasts the 24 days which is far less expensive than buying a single can else where. I give him a filet a day and I still have enough cans to last perhaps another month. Due to the low mercury it is healthier. He loves the texture and flavor. Due to the bones, meat and they way is was packed I can see the quality. Even the flesh shows its original color which is appealing to the eye. Due to how small the cans are, they store easily and they last a long time. If you have a dog and you want an easy way to give them their omega 3s, this is the best option.

Full of scales but that means more type 1 marine collagen!
If you like scales you'll love these sardines! Most of the cans were full of a lot of scales, seemingly even more scales than would have been on the sardines naturally. At first I was turned off by this, but then I learned that fish scales are actually digestible if cooked, and contain lots of type 1 marine collagen. I actually look forward to eating scales now! AI tells me more:1. A Natural Collagen BoostSardine scales are almost entirely made of Type I Marine Collagen.- Skin and Joints: This specific type of collagen is the most abundant in the human body and is the primary building block for skin elasticity, joint cartilage, and connective tissue.- Bioavailability: Because the canning process uses high heat and pressure, the scales on sardines are softened to the point that your body can easily break down and absorb the collagen peptides.2. Essential Bone-Building MineralsScales are "biomineralized," meaning they store minerals in a way that is easy for the body to use.- Calcium and Phosphorus: These two work together to maintain bone density and tooth enamel.- Trace Minerals: Scales also contain small amounts of magnesium and zinc, which support immune function and metabolic health.

Please be careful….
I bought three dozen of these because I read online, whether true or not I don’t know, that this brand tested lower in arsenic than others. I can understand that with less salt some folks find them bland but that doesn’t bother me. I don’t think I have ever opened a can with such a rusty red packing liquid; but I can drain and look past that with blind faith that it is safe. But the can is packed with scales both large and small. I mean enough to clog the kitchen sink strainer with them while trying to wash off. There really isn’t any reason for them to process so negligently. I have bought a “French” brand from Amazon with scales, but not as many, that were cheaper and less than a quarter of sodium( 41mg vs 170mg ). And a local supermarket find also product of Morocco that is also lower in salt ( 90mg vs 170mg ). Also in same price point as these and also some scales found but again not as many as these. Obviously there are no returns and I am out a substantial amount of money. I really wanted to like these and was persuaded by some “glowing” reviews on these… enough to try even though I read there might be some scales. Never could I have imagined that there would be this many allowed to be canned short of someone performing a bad prank. Sadly, while the fish are large and pretty firm trying to rinse, even gently washes the loosely attached skin right off with them loosing some of the best and most nutritious parts. Please make up your own mind but be advised and if you do decide to take a chance, buy a small amount that you won’t regret spending on.

Muy grasosas, no creo que estén en agua
Están muy grasosas y el sabor y olor no son apetecibles.

Golpeadas
Una de las latas venía abierta porque estaba golpeada y se salió el agua e impregnó con olor a pescado las otras latas
