What a great navigation tool. Follow the enclosed directions; download the app on your smartphone; charge the battery; install on your handle bars or fairing; pick your destination on your smartphone; connect via Bluetooth; have a nice safe ride. I glued my mount to the fairing of my motorcycle and it has withstood the +110° F heat all summer with no problems. It works best in bright sunlight and is easy to read. I haven’t used it at night, but suspect it will be difficult to see. It does not appear to be backlit. The app was as easy to use as any of the other smartphone navigation applications I have used. It is very similar to Apple Maps or Google maps. If you miss a turn it will reroute you like most similar apps. It is much easier to read and interpret than any of the other navigation apps I have used while riding in bright sunlight. It has too many great programmable features to cover here, but I do like the direction finder mode, where it basically just points towards your final destination and lets you navigate to get there. It would be great for hiking or riding off road to keep from getting too lost. The battery lasts much longer than I am willing to ride. It recharges fairly quickly on its own special charger adapter. Having to keep track of that charge adapter is probably the only negative aspect. Hopefully, future versions will come with mini USB or Fire wire universal charge ports. Otherwise it is a great safety device; fun and easy to use.

I rode over 400 miles using this device in both day and night. Here's what I observed: 1) Battery Life-Excellent, indeed lasted the advertised 30 hours and somewhat less with the back light on. 2) Water proof- Seems as so, since I did leave it out in a driving rain storm with no problems. 3) Visibility in Bright Sun-Excellent, the brighter the better. At night back light was easy to read. 4) GPS accuracy and reliability- It appears the APP uses Google Earth, regardless, you must have Internet to Plan ONLY your route. Once the route is planned, you Do NOT have to have internet (cell) coverage for those mountain/desert rides in the middle of nowhere for the navigation to work. 5) Cell Phone Battery Drain- Minimal at worst, I used iPhone 11 pro to bluetooth music to my helmet while it was communicating to the Beeline unit. Some have reported the phone gets hot-I did Not have this issue, and I was turning off the screen on the iPhone while riding. 6) ReRoute ability- It did eventually reroute by itself, but I wouldn't call it expeditious. 7) Phone APP- Really great, ability to pre-plan and save routes was very easy. Map display (if you wanted it on) is clear. Overall APP is simple, usable and well thought out. 8) Bluetooth connectivity- Fast, reliable, low power draw and connects the second you open the APP and turn on the unit. 9) Turn Indications- I had no problem knowing when the next turn was coming up, with the distance countdown, 'Turn Dot' indicator, it was clearly obvious when to turn, go around a corner or round about. There is no voice guidance. but you absolutely don't need it with the big white arrow, turn direction dot and countdown distance. Menus on the unit are very simple and complete. Mounting hardware supplied works perfect for any bike. I would have wanted two more rubber mounting bands in the box though. 10) Firmware Updates- They are automatic when you first connect the unit to the APP. I wish there was somewhere that stated the changes to any firmware updates though. As for customer service, I got a response within 24 hours for a question I had. Overall I very much like the BeeLine, and it really is a nicer and more simple way to navigate on a bike. For folks who don't have power for their cell phone, with the screen turned off, there is much less power draw on the cell phone than running a navigation APP and having to have the screen on! Get it!

The screen in smaller than it like on the photos, in fact device is very light and compact, which is good. The arrow is easy to see, but the more important parts like next turn distance and direction are much smaller. There are some they features you'd expect from a navigator, like the ability to end the route when the destination is reached (so far you need to click stop button in the app) or stop/pause functionality on the device itself (that's also phone only). The buttons don't do much, you can see the charge status and the speed. The battery seems to hold well, though. Overall nice device but a bit too simplistic for the price.

I bought for motorcycle riding. It is a very small footprint that provides just the information you need, nothing extra. Works great! Good points: - very long battery life (30+ hours) - small form factor - easy to follow instructions - phone app doesn't need cell signal to give directions, and doesn't use my battery - reliable blu-tooth connection - very durable and attractive - can load a gpx file route from another app - Absolutely ideal for point A to point B routing, specific routes are a little more complicated (as noted below) - choices of very good mounts - comes with two, very useful. Room for improvement: - limitation of 23 waypoints in the app. If you are trying to create a route to take specific roads (like a motorcycle ride), this can be challenging. You have to break it up into segments. - when it re-routes you, it sometimes takes you to roads you don't want to go on. This is why you need more waypoints, so it doesn't take you too far off your route. - sometimes struggles with brightness is changing light conditions - a desktop interface for creating the routes would be nice. You only have the phone to do it now, and while it is a pretty good app, it is a little tedious creating routes on the phone. All in all, a great value. All of my riding friends have one and love it. I would definitely buy again.

I absolutely love this thing. I really don’t like hanging my phone on my handlebar for several reasons. First, it just looks tacky (yes, it does). Second you’re subjecting your phone to a lot of vibration, which can damage some of the sensors. Third you’re exposing your expensive phone to the elements, and lastly you’re risking your expensive phone falling off. This little guy solves all of those problems. It’s small size is unobtrusive and it looks great. It takes navigation data from your phone and shows it to you in a very intuitive format, all while your phone sits safely in a jacket pocket or saddlebag. Excessive vibrations won’t harm it. Weather won’t harm it. If it falls off and breaks you’re not out $700. I’d much rather have something happen to this than my phone. Battery life is excellent, visibility day and night is excellent, and the companion navigation app works great and handles reroutes very well. And if nothing else, it looks way better than some of the monstrosities I see plastered on peoples handlebars. That only is worth the price.

It's difficult to explain all the ways this thing is a major disappointment, but I'll try to summarize it for you. First, if you try to create your own route using the app, you will find yourself unexpectedly diverted through industrial parks, residential neighborhoods and back alleyways. These diversions aren't visible on your route map unless you zoom in all the way to the maximum. Then, if the app even THINKS you may have strayed from the route, it tells you to turn around! And if you try to fix this by setting "allow automatic re-routing", it "re-routes" by throwing away your carefully planned route and substituting one that the app creates! So, this thing is of absolutely NO USE TO ME AT ALL, since I want to plan my own routes. Then, if you want to use the app's automatic routing, you'll have to be ok with senseless routing that ALWAYS takes you to a major city, even though it's far out of your way, before taking you to your destination. This characteristic of the routing seems to have completely ruined the "Fun" routing option, which is now the same dumb route that takes me through every metropolis on the map for no apparent reason. The last thing I'll mention is that even after spending a lot of money to buy the navigator appliance, they had the audacity to start demanding more money to unlock app functionality! No way guys! Forget it! I threw this thing in a drawer a long time ago and forgot about it. There's lots of other ways the Beeline navigator disappoints, but these I've listed will, I hope, be sufficient to warn you away from making the same mistake I did by purchasing this turd.

I bought this after seeing a demo for the Royal Himalayan integrated nav, same as Beeline, plan a route on your phone then put your phone away and just have a simple dial tell you when to turn. No clutter, easy to read. The Beeline app plans routes very well, on par with Google or Apple maps for simple trip planning. It has a feature over those that I like in that it records those ride with stats so you can look back. You can also record a ride that Beeline didn't plan. Navigation is simple. The big chevron points the way you should be going. The displayed mileage, which turns to yards under one tenth of a mile, is the distance to your next turn and the dot next to the chevron is the direction of that turn. Simple. The display is clear and simple to read dramatically reducing the time your eyes are off of the road. Literally only one nit to pick, the distance to go to the turn is always off. You are making the turn with the display still saying 20 to 40 yards to go. Usually not a problem but could be in a complex intersection.

I got the Moto original when the price was discounted recently. - Easy setup with the app and works well right off the box. Requires subscription for more useful features for motorcycle routing. - The mount installation on bar is easy and comes with simple instructions. - The device works well, and as other reviews suggest, provide a simple view to help the rider anticipate what is next. The auto stop and auto reroute seems to work reasonably well. Cons: - The routing still cannot factor in traffic and real-time road conditions like a regular gps app can. - I noticed early on that there is a way to attach the device to the mount (simple place and twist) where you think it is secured, but IT IS NOT. Was wary of this for the entire 1 week I had the device, and yet ended up losing the device about 5 days into a moto camping trip. It seemed to have popped out of the supplied mount within a mile of the last time I happened to glance at it while riding 😢. Obviously, was bummed that I lost a $180 device within a week, but thankfully “rediscovered” google maps and it’s audio routing (which I had completed ignored and muted all these years) saved the day. I was able to get Google map route instructions through AirPods inside the helmet and found it to work very well for the rest of the trip (including navigation through San Francisco city). Net net: there is value in a simple visual navigation interface for riding (bike, motorcycle etc). BUT…. 1) there are other products solving this problem such as OEM navigation displays (e.g. royal enfield), helmet heads-up display options etc. , 2) free gps apps provide better routing capabilities if you are willing to mount the device or work with the audio routing instructions.

If you have a classic motorcycle and prefer style over functionality, and have money to spend on a display, then this is it. I’ve been getting numerous emails about Beeline Moto for several years, but I never found it useful—until I purchased an e-scooter. That’s when I finally considered it. But now I regret it. It can show directions from your phone, but GPX file export fails. And their customer service? Fantastic—they reply to your queries but slow👍🏻. So, think about it. Costly gadget. Navigation: of you're sticking to main roads and highways, without continuous roundabouts which is very rare this never works I missed many as sometimes Moto won't show roundabouts but instead tell keep left or right, some it's show's roundabout signal and signs. So confusing navigation for me.

A well made GPS with long lasting battery life and portable to carry around. Curious why it is not chargeable using USB type C, but requires a charging cradle that can cause a bit of inconvenience to replace if spoiled. Voice direction require a subscription, which is strange as typical GPS is equipped with voice direction at no additional costs.

Tried a ride with saved route and put phone in airplane mod to save data, work fine till I went of course and couldn’t reroute after back on track, better when connected to phone same as when I used my data on Google maps, or ways, only beeline is compact and less distracting
