IWonderful product, for years I've had to endure a bunch of stray cats right behind my garden, they poop right where I grow my vegetables to eat. I really like cats but I can't take it anymore, so I bought this machine, it work very well

This thing was amazing when we first got it, It did exactly the job we wanted it to do. We have cats on our property all over the place that do not belong to us so we put up two of these in two different places and it was really doing the job keeping the cats at bay. However, it's life was short-lived. First it stopped coming on all together when we deliberately caused motion in front of it and then it would come on intermittently and after that it would just run constantly. It's too expensive for it to work properly for one month. Both sprinklers are doing the exact same thing. I bought one and then about 2 weeks later I bought a second one and we're having the same problems with both of them. I really hate putting negative reviews. But maybe if the seller sees the negative reviews they might offer to do right by us since it's past the return window. I haven't reviewed the seller themselves yet but maybe I should see if I can contact them directly.

We have had one for over a year and just got a second one to protect another area of the garden. You can connect them in a chain so you won't need hose splitters. The angle of sensitivity seems like 30 degrees or so. The spray pattern is quite adjustable but I use the default which is also about 30° back and forth a couple times. Plenty to dissuade deer. May only spray about 20 ft, but the noise itself will probably send deer scattering. Our first one has protected our citrus since one was damaged last year. The solar power system works fine. The panel can be broken off its support if one is not careful (i was not) but even hanging by its cord it still keeps the batteries charged.

I bought this because a neighbor has one, loves it & showed it to me. The only reason I took a star away is because the instructions that came with this unit weren't clear to me. I sat & tried to figure out how to put it together, which took more time than I thought it should. It does seem rather delicate, so I was trying to be careful not to break anything. I'm very mechanically inclined, so this was a surprise. One thing I didn't notice while setting it up on the lawn, was it said to turn the sensitivity dial all the way up & then to off, then turn to where you want it & then turn on the water. I went back & did that after the fact. The first time it went off it scared me. I was standing slightly to the side behind it, so I had to laugh. So far, there are no leaks, which other people have had issues with. Have had to make a few adjustments because it was going off every time a car drove by. But so far so good, seems to have scared the rabbits away and still waiting to see what happens with the deer.

I had deer getting into my vegetable garden and feasting on my growing plants. I never saw them because they had come during the night, but their tracks and damage was clear. I got a couple of these sprayers and setup at each end of the garden aiming so they get spray before anything is getting even close and haven't had an issue since. I have the sensitivity turned to max and they do sometimes spray during daytime if wind moves a tree branch or a random shadow sets them off; for me that's okay. It's such a small amount of water. Setup is easy, but directions are very poor. I looked at a picture of an assembled unit and used that to help put it together. It is plastic, so only hand tighten the threaded joints. Be sure the o-rings are in place at each joint or it will leak. You can adjust the spray range side-side to protect the area the sensor is pointed to. EDIT: less than one month later and the two units I have are now sporadic in whether they will actually go off or not. I can sometimes actually do the hokey pokey 6 feet in front of them and not get sprayed. I'm suspicious of the batteries being too weak and not charging from the solar panel even though they are exposed to a full sunny day. I'm lowering my rating and will pull the batteries toward evening to check voltage if they are actually charging or if its something else.

Works great! Set up 10 days ago and has scared off Raccoons and Deer on 2 different nights. Recommend using plumbers ribbon in all joints to stop leaks.

When I seed my lawn to cover bald spots, rabbits always come to eat the young shoots and the grass never grows. Tried the sonic device which all animals just ignore. But this motion sensor sprinkler works great in scaring the rabbits away humanely. The clattering of the sprinkler stuns the animals and getting sprayed by water scares them away. Been using this for about three years now and still holding up. Needs a bit of fiddling since shadows and wind (on leaves) sets the motion sensor off.

I used to scoff at the review where people would say, "Stopped working after two weeks," but not any more. Bought this to chase the birds off the newly planted lawn. First off, it says it will detect birds, but unless you have condors landing on your grass, this thing won't scare anything. Pigeons might set it off, if you're lucky. Even large flocks of them. Came out one day to find a carpet of pigeons gorging themselves on my seed right in front of this sprinkler and didn't go off until I chased them off. Then suddenly it was like, "Hey dude, I had this. I was just waiting for the right moment." After two weeks of use, it stopped working. Wouldn't run when it was supposed to. Then, it started running without any movement. Over and Over 5 seconds at a time. Then, it started running for more than 5 seconds at a time. The final straw was when I came home one day to find it had been running non stop for hours. Flooded my backyard hardcore and drowned the newly planted rye and ballooned my water bill. Complete garbage. Thankfully, I'm within the 30 return period, so I will be taking advantage of that and get my $40 back.

Cats don't piss in my yard anymore

Have a lot of neighbors Cats peeing in my backyard. Got one of these, works great. Wish the water Jet is pointed straight rather than fountain type. This product works fine for me, I think the cats get scared when the jet starts to blast water.

Worked great for about a month, then it stopped working. I found the problem, the solar panel does not work. I reached out to the vendor and told them the solar panel does not work so I have to use regular rechargeable batteries. The vendor replied to me and said that they cannot accept a return because the item condition has been modified. The item was not modified. I changed the batteries. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

I have been using this for 4 weeks and it is effective in scaring the ducks away. However, the build material is not durable. On the 5th week the pipe section of the unit suddenly burst. Possibly due to this product not suited to hot weather in Australia where it was almost 30 degrees when the pipe burst. See photo how it broke on the bottom part of the pipe.

Delivered on time. Easily assembled. Does all they say. Have had no trouble with pests since receiving it.
