Review: Good read - I have not read this book yet but based on the previous 4 books that I have read written by Lucy Diamond I know that I will enjoy them. Lucy Diamonds books are really well written, they capture your interest and are difficult to put down once you start reading them. I have previously read a lot of books written by Catherine Cookson (which I still enjoy) but I would probably class Lucy Diamond as my favourite author at the moment as she writes about real life in the present day rather than the past. Review: I love Lucy Diamonds books! - I really enjoy Lucy Diamond books and this is no exception. I loved the characters and felt so sorry for Josie and got a real sense of the betrayal and rejection she felt. I like Nell as the whirlwind friend and I like the way the twins are portrayed. Their childish characterisation gives the novel an extra dimension showing that despite what Josie has went through she must still be a good mother, and then once the twins are put to bed you can nearly hear Josie breathing a sigh of relief that she can safely feel whatever way she wants to. Only negative is the absolutely APPALLING editing for the kindle version. At one stage "he'll" becomes hell, words are missed out etc. etc. But a terrific read!

Good easy read
Lucy Diamond is my current favourite author. I started buying her books by chance at the start of this horrible lockdown period in March. They are interesting, funny and very readable. Excellent buy for anyone who, like me, wants a book that will lift their mood and make them feel good. Thoroughly recommend it.

Shame the happy ending is rushed
OK read. It’s a story of a marriage break-up but I found it hard to believe that the main character would so easily forgive her pal who had an affair with the husband and even got pregnant! 99% of the book is devoted to a couple of weeks in the main character’s life. Then she gets together with her new partner but that is covered by the author very quickly with no detail. Then the 3 page epilogue informs us she is happily on safari with him expecting his child. I just felt that the ending was very rushed.

Pleasant enough
A nice enough read about Josie who discovers her husband isn't the person she believed she had married. For the most part I enjoyed reading about how she dealt with the discovery but I felt that some of the of her characters were a little undeveloped compared to other Diamond books. A nice enough narrative overall but her later work is better.

Brilliant and so real
All the emotions Josie felt came through on the page brilliantly. Super read. Pass me another Lucy Diamond book immediately

fab book
I really enjoyed reading over you. I love Lucy Diamonds books and this one did not disappoint...The storyline was so believable and I enjoyed reading about the characters and how it all came together...and I did find myself holding my breath and shouting no a few times throughout this great read. totally recommend it.

Enjoyable book
Great book for an easy read. The three main characters were likeable, (although none of them seemed to have any other real friends to share their problems with). The story moved along at a good pace and I have already ordered another book by the same author.

Enjoyed this book. Not as much action as others by Lucy but still enjoyable. Author took us on an emotional roller coaster of a break up. Onto the next Lucy Diamond book.

Love the author usually but this was a dull read. I like the accomplishments of her characters and this centered on only one woman and was boring

...da kann man nichts falsch machen. Solide Lucy Diamond Story mit allem drum und dran. Ich mag einfach den Schreibstil und das fröhliche Gefühl beim Lesen.
