I love this lamp! It's sturdy, was easy to put together and is beautiful.

Easy assembly, looks great

There is no need for instructions as everything was very easy to figure out. However, I have to agree with comments about the shade size, it needs to be a bit wider, especially if you use it away from a wall. The color of the original shade is taupe. I absolutely LOVED the color of the fabric and the fabric itself used for the shade, as I had hoped it wasn't white, but the size of the shade just didn't suit the area; it's too small. The shade is about the width of the base of the lamp. The shade seen in this photo is a different one, bigger and wider, than the one that came with the floor lamp. This floor lamp also comes with a 60ww bulb. The post of the lamp is a brown with specks of bronze and light weight. Beautiful! However, my only complaint is the base is not as weighted as I'd like. I would have liked it to feel more solid so it can't be pushed down when the cats run around. Using carpet tape to tack down. Hopefully this will work! Regardless, I give them 4 stars and still recommend the purchase of this floor lamp.

This is a very attractive, well-made, sturdy floor lamp. I was a little concerned when I received the package. The box didn't look large enough to hold the lamp and the shade. Upon opening, however, I found the shade in a "collapsed" condition. Curious, I took it out, and held it up in my hand and it drips down showing the shape of the lampshade. That's fine, i thought, but how do I get it to stay in that shape? Looking inside the lampshade, I saw three separate white thin metal bars with an odd shape. Without looking at the directions, I figured out that these bars are movable, all you need to do is pull them up, one at a time, such that they lock into place at the top of the lamp. Repeat with the other two and you have a perfectly sturdy, no wrinkles, lamp shade. Ingenious!! The rest of the lamp assembly was simple, just screwing the sections together. It's a very attractive lamp. Oh, it also comes with one light bulb. I didn't know that. I had also purchased a pack of 8 light bulbs. So I have extra. Very satisfied.

Sturdy, easy to assemble lamp. The bronze finish is well done. The lamp shade arrives flat, but is also easy to assemble. The wrinkles in the lamp shade smooth out over time. Overall I’m well pleased with this lamp and would buy it again!

We truly love this lamp. It's beautiful, fits very well in our living room. Perfect size. The bronze is what we got and it's perfect. The only problem we have had is it would not turn on at first. I contacted the seller and got the automated response of what to do. It did not work. Everything was plugged in, the light bulb was good, but it still does not work. I tried to contact the seller and got no response. We think there is a short in the switch. It would come on after 5-10 tries, but now it just flashes and goes back off. We don't have to have a new lamp, we just want this one to work.
