These are brilliant - well made, sharp, comfy to hold and so versatile. So far I haven’t actually used them as a proper chisel but know already they will be perfect for the job when we come to fit new hinges on our doors - I’ve used them to prize skotia from skirting board that was virtually impossible to remove having been stuck on with some insanely strong adhesive rather than pinned, they were then used to remove the evil adhesive from the skirting board in preparation for sanding and they have been used to lift carpet gripper tracks from floorboards. I would not have succeeded in any of these jobs without this chisel set. They even come with blade protectors and have their own storage bag. Very durable as blades all remain intact after not really using them for their intended purpose and very good value for money.

It was so good to have this to fix my son's room door catch. It nows works really well! Blades are sharp right out of the box, and the 4 different sizes were handy. Seems quite sturdy and durable. Easy to store!

Decent little set. Those looking for professional kit probably should look elsewhere, but for the odd DIY job, these are absolutely fine, especially for the price.

I've been using these chisels for a couple of months now, and I've found them to be perfectly adequate for medium-duty DIY use. The handles are surprisingly comfortable, despite being very basic construction with a bare wood finish (I always prefer this, it allows for a firm safe grip with little or no chance of your hand slipping). The blade itself would appear to be a very reasonable quality steel. I have been using these on a job where I didn't want to use my good chisels in case they encountered a nail or other embedded piece which could cause damage to the cutting edge. The chisels seem to retain a good cutting edge, and they were useable straight out of the box. However, I did hone a secondary bevel as I usually do (25 degree primary and 30 degree secondary) when they were due their first sharpening session. You will need to secure the steel collar which will happen naturally as you use the chisel. The wood will mushroom over the edge. This is normal for this style of handle, the loose collar is not a fault! All in all, a very good set of chisels for an extremely competitive price!

My wife purchase this chisels for our timber framing building project, and I am glad she did! Overall very good quality for mid range chisels, handles well made and just right grip for my size of feast! Needed some cosmetics and sharpening, the largest took me most of my time to take out some milling marks, it doesn't effecting the quality and value but I like it nice and shiny! Best way to know your tools is give some rubbing and sharpening! Recommending to others, great value for longer chisels ( over 10 inch length). Good job Amazon!

Endast provat, men helt okej utom en som är felslipad och helt slö. Kvalitetskontroll verkar vara bristfällig, så man kan väl vänta sig vadsomhelst vid leverans. Hade alla varit vassa förtjänar de fem stjärnor sett till vad de kostar. Ett minus är att de är slipade med 30° vinkel på hela ytan. Hade ju varit bättre med ex. 25° på hela ytan och 30° vid eggen, men än en gång- man får vad man betalar för.

Used them to mortise a door latch hole. They were so easy to use and very sharp. Made my working day a whole lot shorter. Great value for the money.
