My daughter wanted to buy this to practice tricks for butterfly knifes with her friends. It is compact, stylish, works smoothly... and has a safety pin in it.After use, the screws are a little loose. I don't know if this is supposed to happen.

They are very sturdy and fun to use. Definitely worth the money. Although they are not dust and waterproof, either of those things will gunk up the bearings.

I think this is great for beginners it was a little stiff but after swinging it for a bit it loosened very quickly it is a bit heavy but can still do the basic tricks with it. For starting out on using the butterfly knife I would say this is perfect to get a feel for it then you can always buy the vulp when you feel more comfortable. I haven't had lose screws or anything like that with both of them. So seeing other people's comments it might just be a bad batch perhaps as mine have been great. Its a great price and great for beginners.
