First the good news. It's quite heavy and feels well-made. The controls on the door are excellent, it looks good and really chills the wine. The temperature indicator appears to only register between 18c and 5c. When stood for an hour before switch on, as recommended, the indictor showed 18c in a room at 22c. When it shows 5c, the wine temperature measured by a quality thermometer from the lowest wire rack is actually 3c, so it does a good job of cooling. No so good news. It's noisy and would disturb most users if placed in a lounge or bedroom. In a kitchen, it's fine. Lastly, the eco rating is pretty poor. But it does its job well and is excellent value for money.

Great little wine cooler that looks stylish in any bar. Fan is slightly loud but not a problem really if it’s in area away from where you sit. Keeps wine cool for sure although top shelve a little warmer than middle or bottom sheleves do tend to use them more.

Ok, it’s cheap, so I shouldn’t have expected too much. As many other reviews have stated, it’s NOISY. It’s not the compressor which is the culprit. That’s audible but I can live with that. It’s other components. The metal shelves rattle like a bucket of nails due to the vibration of the unit. Ok, so when the shelves are fully loaded with wine, it does subdue the rattling and there is just a subdued rumbling of the compressor. I can live with that. But then, just when you think you’ve cracked it, it suddenly fires up with a completely new set of rattles. Yes, I have tried levelling the unit with a spirit level. I have even tried wrapping a little insulating tape around the shelf brackets where they rest on the supports. That worked. Sorted I thought. Humph! 😤 The next time it fired up, a completely new orchestra of rattles was introduced from deep within! On the positive side (there are positives?) the unit looks quite presentable and appears to maintain a given temperature, though I have yet to test that aspect. So, in conclusion, you may be lucky. You might NOT get a fridge which rattles like the aforementioned bucket of nails, but more reviewers have mentioned the noise aspect than those who say it’s quiet. To be fair, the rattles are less frequent now, but it’s still a gamble, every time it fires up….will it rattle?!!! I guess location plays a part here too. I have mine beside my chair in the lounge where convenience possibly overrides the intermittent rattling. But if it’s located in a kitchen, for example, that would be less of a problem. Oh dear! It’s just started a new pulsating rattling. Aaarrrgghh!!! I despair.

We chose well, replacing our old non-compressor wine fridge of inferior make, which struggled to chill far below ambient in a house that we like to keep at 22 degrees C. This 20-bottle compressor fridge looks smart and after settling and switching on, loaded about half-full with room temperature wine, it was down to 5 degrees C in 10 hours and at no stage were we aware of any noise from it. We are so glad that we kept browsing until we found this product, being put off many brands by tales of broken doors and failure to chill adequately. The design and build quality are first-rate.

I was concerned that it might not reach lower temperatures but it gets really cold at the bottom (ice in cans!) This was on the lowest setting 5° so upped it to 7°. Very impressed with the quality for the price and it looks great!

I keep mine in the garage cooling white wine to 5 degrees Celsius. This doesn't work in summer when the temperature rises. The last few weeks when we've had over 30 degrees the temp in the fridge has not been below 13 degress and is only now getting lower as the outside temp goes down. I expect a fridge to do better than this. When we get down to 25 or lower it seems to achieve 5 degrees.

Quiet and efficient We brought this to store our cans of mixers and some wine and it’s now full of wine beer & cider along with the cans on the bottom drawer. Nice internal light , excellent build quality only downside is that I should have brought a bigger one 😁
