Awesomely fun build!
I really enjoyed this build. It looks great and was fun. But not for small children. The pieces are very small. This is the first micro building blocks set i have tried. The instructions are very clear. I bought another set, from a different manufacturer, and the instructions are terrible. I loved legos as a kid and so do my kids. But being 50 with large construction fingers, it was a little difficult to grab the pieces. Eventhough, I managed to put it all together in a timely manor with patience. The small pickup and place tool that is included really helped. If you don't have patience or a little time to work on it, or small children around, I wouldn't recommend it. Total Build time approximately 8-12 hours.

Very time consuming.
I really enjoyed building the corgi. It took me 11 hours to complete. The first 3 steps are kinda confusing. Once you get passed those step, it gets much easier. I did like how long it took me to build. With traditional lego set, I get them done in a few hours. The pieces are very tiny and don't always lock in like traditional legos. Sometimes the pieces slide around. You just got move them around to get them into place. It does come with a brick separator and many spare parts. The completed corgi fits in one hand. It's perfect size to have on a desk, bookshelf, or window sill. Would purchase again.

Challenging build but fun
I ordered the golden retriever and border collie kits for my kids. They lost interest. It took me about 6 hours to finish the golden. I am not a Lego expert in any way, and this was one of the most difficult tasks I’ve ever undertaken. First be aware these are micro bricks. They are tiny. If you have larger fingers, it may be hard to snap them in place. The hardest part was the first two layers. It does not start with a plate, it’s only loose pieces. So it’s very difficult to line them up correctly. Once I had those layers done it was much easier to build up. You build layer by layer, which makes it easy to get into a rhythm. The instructions could be improved if they were color coded for brick type. There are not that many shapes of pieces, so it would be easy to assign a color to each brick type to make the instructions easier to follow. Overall, it turned out very cute and seems to be sturdy, as long as you really make sure the bricks are snapped together. I’m looking forward to building the border collie and displaying them. I think they are sturdy enough that my daughter can play with them like toys too. I sorted the pieces by shape before I started which made it easier. There were also quite a few extra pieces, so I wasn’t too worried about dropping them. I gave 4 stars only because I think the instructions could be color coded for improvement and the first layer would be easier as a base plate.

It is not for children under 14.
The box said this Lego was for 3+. I gave it to my 6 year old for Christmas. The pieces are small and directions advanced. She could not participate in building it. Then I noticed in the directions 14+. Confusion explained!

Do not buy
After 9 plus hours I am finally done. A few extra things that came up from my update yesterday. I have 42 extra pieces left and some don’t even go to this kit. I know this because some of these pieces are the same pieces you use for the eyes but are white. I was missing a piece that I needed but was able to use one of the extra pieces. I actually had 45 extra pieces if you count the one I used to make up for the missing one and also for some reason there was an empty space behind both feet I put an extra piece on to make the back feet stronger. Last thing I noticed is the box says 3 and up but the booklet says 14+. I wanted to update my review. I have been building this for going on more than 7 hours and I’m maybe about 90% of the way done and that’s just insane. The directions when you start putting layer on layer all the previous layers are blue so it makes it very very hard to continue the build. Also it is very unstable and not sturdy at all. A lot of pieces it’s like a 4 long piece on a 1 length piece so I have had to reputedly put pieces back together more times than I can count. A lot of the pieces just don’t fit right. There are gaps all over and I have pushed this thing as hard as I can against my table and they still don’t fit right. A lot of pieces also are curved. This is just a mess and a very bad product. Another issue I have that I don’t understand is they tell you in the corner of each picture what pieces you need (this I understand) but then right under that picture on most if not all the pages they list like in most 2 pieces that are in the picture above like you need those as well but you never do. When I got this I was a little upset with the size of it as I thought it was bigger. I got over it. Then I opened it for my daughter and the pieces were very small. I also got over that. She went to put it together and looking at the directions it is insane. I knew this was not legos but unlike legos that does a few pieces at a time this thing does if not a full layer 3 at a time. Just shows all 3 and it is very hard to figure out where all the places go. Like first image is 3 layers and each layer just shows each piece laying next to each other. This is a complete waste of money. First and last product I will ever buy from the company.

Not for 3+
The piece is super cute and my daughter was super jazzed. The box says 3+ but opening up the package is says 14+. We are ok with tiny pieces but just know the directions are not easy to understand. I didn’t read reviews before buying, just putting it out there the directions are not like standard Lego style directions

Adorable Boston Terrier build!
Fun but difficult build! I think this is more of n adult level build. I am a 40 year old who loves Boston Terriers for reference. The pieces can be tiny and I started using tweezers towards the end. Pro tip: Once you get to the ears of the Boston Terrier (around step 25-26) look ahead and compare sizes of the pieces with one block and a smooth slant because it is hard to tell which piece is used and I ended up messing up my ears and had to take apart and re build!

This Boston Terrier build is such a satisfying project, not Lego brand, but honestly just as enjoyable. Fair warning: the pieces are very small and some look quite similar to each other, so patience is your friend here. The instructions are a little vague in spots, but the pieces themselves are intuitive enough that you can usually figure it out. I took my time and it ended up being about 5 hours total, which flew by. My biggest tip: there is a small removal tool tucked in with the pieces — CHECK FOR IT BEFORE YOU START. I didn't notice it until the very end and wished I'd had it the whole time. It makes separating pieces so much easier. Also appreciated: plenty of extra pieces included in case you lose or break any. A nice touch. It reads 12+ age but I would aim more towards an adult project due to vague instructions and small pieces The finished Boston Terrier is absolutely adorable and I genuinely wish I could do it all over again. Highly recommend for any dog lover who enjoys a relaxing, detail-oriented project!
