Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner/Detangler - 8 oz

Thin tangley haired girlies- This one's for us! It never leaves my hair oily or greasy, but the tiniest amount makes my hair silky, lightweight and tangle free!! No more ripping your hair out while brushing or combing. It practically falls apart. The smell is very light and unnoticeable. 10/10 recommend!

I purchased this for my daughter after lots of research trying to find a clean product that works well for curly hair. She has 3b hair and this product has been a game-changer. I usually dilute a tbsp into a spray bottle with water and detangle her hair with it and when her hair dries it is so soft, hydrated and bouncy with very little frizz. I really appreciate the short ingredient list because so many hair products for curly hair have WAY too many ingredients that are not necessary and usually harmful. The scent is also really mild but very pleasant as well and doesn't bother my daughter at all (she has asthma and is very sensitive to scents). We'll continue using this brand for our family and are so glad Amazon carries it.

I wanted to give my review for this product because some people may be quite skeptical like I was. Well let me tell you, buy this! It does a great job of getting knots out of kinky, knotty hair. my 7 yr old has so much hair. And after washing, it is very hard to get out tangles because her hair is fine curly. I put this on it (used quite a bit) and it really helped a lot! I also use it on my 4yr old she has fine curly hair as well, and it always has tight curls on the ends when dry. I used this on her hair after it was dry and knotty the other day, I was done in 10 minutes! It does make their hair seem wet though, so for us who are african american if you want to get the knots out and still want the hair to be straight, it is best to use after washing. And then straighten after. I am really glad I found out about this product. Thank you KINKY KURLY!!!!

this works so extremely well on my infant son's hair. i have been using it for almost 2 months now and it works wonders. it really gives life back to that baby hair they all have in the beginning that slowly fades around 6 months! it is light weight and his hair is so silky when i work it into his hair. great detangler too! he has a bad patch of dry hair in the back of his head that has just been destroyed from laying on his back and, although it hasn't completely grown back in yet, it is a lot softer now and has even restored some of the curl to it. i use this product to moisture and define his curls then use the curling pudding to set it. i only wish i has started using this earlier instead of baby lotion, smh. the only con is that the 8 oz doesn't last very long. about 2-3 months for me. but i used it with his regular hair routine. if u only use it when u shampoo your hair it will probably last longer. p.s. it smells heavenly. if u are a fan of a fruity coconut smell, u will fall in love with this. my baby always smells too delicious!!

My daughter is 8 years old and has hair past her waist. Her hair is thick with slight wave with some little curls around her hairline. She has A LOT of hair, (think Arianna Grande's ponytail). I was struggling with her getting horrible knots and the ends drying out. The other problem was her getting frizz and flyaways hairs all over her head. (Sidenote: I really want to cut her hair short but she loves it long and it means a lot to her that shes got the longest hair at school. But for real shes getting her hair cut sooner than she knows!!) I graduated cosmetology school so I know a lot about hair and maintenance, her hair is high maintenance (highly porous, dry, plus damage from pool water and being slept on wet). I've tried a variety of high end and expensive leave in conditioners, shampoos and conditioners, oils, creams, treatments... Her hair is my biggest challenge. Kinky Curly Knot Today has tamed her wild hair! It has made the hairs around her crown area smoothed but not matted down. The mid-shaft to the ends look and feel nourished and moisturized. Her hair does feel a bit heavier, and I'm pretty sure its because it's now got the moisture she needs and with the volume of hair she has, it will make a considerable difference. I also love that the price is so reasonable! It's worth every penny since it reduces my workload on her hair, and cuts out the need for me to buy a lot of products that just arent working for us. My local beauty supply store doesnt carry the Kinky Curly line so I'm glad I can get it here. Oh, as for how I apply it, after washing and conditioning, I apply Kinky Curly Knot Today liberally through her midshaft down to her ends and proceed to gently detangle that areas applied. Then I drag some of the product on the comb through her hair base (the top of her head) I dont add a lot of concentrated product on her scalp as it will build up quickly and weigh down her already heavy hair. Then I put her hair in a low loose braid to air dry as long as possible. Then, when her hair is slightly damp, I will use a medium heat hair drier to move her hair around and loosen up the bulkier damp spots, not going for bone dry, just lightly speeding up the drying process. Her finished hair looks amazing. Like beautiful mermaid waves. I do straighten her hair sometimes but avoid it to keep the damage down.

it's a great conditioner and/or leave in. I just wish it was not scented. It is overpowering and gives me a headache. Way too strong.

this product is amazing! it gives a huge amount of slip so it's great for detangling. it keeps my (mostly 2c/3a, coarse, normal-high porosity) hair feeling moisturized, *and* defined, as well as soft and not weighed down. i swear by this product and always have it around. i have to remoisturize my hair between wash days and one of the best things about this product is that i can get my hair slightly damp or just steam it up in the shower and the product is reactivated and my hair looks lovely all over again. i also use this product when i braid my hair - which i then leave in for several days, sometimes a week or more at a time, and my hair is still very moisturized and lookin great when i take my braids down. it smells really nice too! tldr - 10/10, would recommend

Love this product. Can use just this and my curls spring back to life. Makes my hair shiny. Awsome detangler. Use it only on days my hair is very rough and tangled. Does an amazing job. Downside is the price hence use it only wen my hair is unmanageable and in a hurry
