Cookware Stainless Steel Cleaner for Pots & Pans 12Oz Powder

I have two all-clad saute pans and one all-clad sauce pan, all over 20 years old, that were greatly discolored (oxidized?) on the sides and one pan was also a solid deep brown on the outer bottom, affecting performance. I didn't want to use them when I had guests because they looked old and dirty even though they were clean. I had tried Bar Keepers Friend, both powder and liquid. I did not see any change. When I tried this product, using a heavy duty sponge with a nylon mesh on one side, at first I didn't notice anything, but when I squeezed the sponge all this dirty water came out, so it was grabbing something. I sprinkled more powder, wet like a paste, let sit for 5 minutes, then scrubbed again. It took some 'elbow grease' but suddently I could see the sides of the pan cleaning up. I kept going and soon enough to my surprise it was shiny like new. I had actually been thinking of buying new pans and taking care of them better, but now they are like new. Also the pan that was dark brown on the bottom cleaned up well and that too now heats like the original. I probably spent 15 minutes per pan, so it isn't a quickie job, takes some rubbing, but well worth it. It will be very easy to maintain the pans like new now by just using this product whenever needed instead of letting the discoloration build up for years.

Nothing else I tried was as effective at getting stubborn burned on olive oil off my pan (an old credit card was pretty good for scraping some off the flat part). I used the All-Clad powder stainless cleaner and now my pan looks almost as good as new. Just be prepared to use some muscle to scrub hard.

I've used Bar Keeper's Friend for years on my All Clad cookware, per All Clad's own recommendation 19 years ago. I received the All Clad Cookware Cleaner today, and after dinner, used the All Clad Cleaner on two pans and the Bar Keeper's Friend on the other two. What I found was absolutely no difference in performance whatsoever. In fact, both products smell identical as well . . .leaving me with the distinct impression, perhaps Bar Keeper's Friend makes this product for All Clad? I will say, the plastic container, with it's close top lid is definitely a an improvement over the cardboard container with open top on Bar Keeper's Friend. And as luck would have it, the AC container includes a screw top lid. So . . .since the cleaner works exactly the same as Bar Keeper's Friend at twice the price . . .I'll keep the All Clad Cleaner bottle and refill with Bar Keeper's Friend when it's empty. Still a great product and improved container . . .minus one star for the high price tag.

I cooked some onions that really burned in to the stainless steel pan. I tried all the tricks - I tried soaking it with soap and water then cleaning, then adding soap and water and heating it on the stove then cleaning.. Nothing would pull out the deep stains. I followed the directions and the stains came right out with a bit of elbow grease. The pan is looking new! I'll definitely be doing it to the rest of my pots and pans and this bottle should last quite some time. Certainly worth it!

Good, but I do not like too many chemicals, the powder comes out easily from the closed bottle. It says not to use it too much, or to use a mask, something like that, so I would recommend to use gloves too. The Ms Meyer's baking soda is like a paste and I think that it doesn't have that many chemicals, and I think it can do the same job as this stainless cleaner. I don't like chemicals, not for people not for pet.

Product works very well, I would recommend wearing gloves before you start scrubbing to avoid getting any of the residue on your hands. It does require a lot of effort to scrub off any discoloration or burning, but it does work very well. My pans look brand new

Really great stuff.. gets it all looking freshly cleaned. Sometimes really gotta use elbow grease but it works! On my second container of it

Not effective if the pan has cooled down.

works perfectly to clean and shine our highend ss pans looking like new. why take a chance with other homemade suggestions when you can use a product specifically designed for the exact task. Yep it is a bit more expensive than a homemade remedy but it works with no risk.
