Nifty strainer for baking...and you can't beat the price.
I needed a small strainer for putting the baking powder, soda, corn starch, and spices into a recipe, and this one does the job and has held up well for the past 5+ months. It was a little smaller than I expected, but it's not for heavy-duty use. I use it 2-3 times a week and it has not ripped or broken in any areas. The instructions say not to put it in the dishwasher, so I hand wash it, but it comes clean easily. I wouldn't use it to strain pasta, but you can rinse rice and quinoa. For under $2, I don't think you can ask for any more.

Great strainer
Great quality strainer. I use it every day to strain kefir grains. Definitely recommend.

Should be better
Part of the nylon section was torn away from rim. Great size but poorly made.

Perfect (and cheap cost) to strain milk kefir . . .
I’ve been successfully making milk kefir for the past month. I had most of what is necessary to make milk kefir except for the non-metal strainer. I had been using a stainless steel strainer without any problems, but I decided to buy a IMUSA 6-inch plastic strainer. Given the incredibly low price (less than $2.00), the cost wasn’t a concern. If it turns out to be a piece of junk, I won't have any regrets because of the low price. I’ve only used the IMUSA 6-inch plastic strainer for a couple of weeks; and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It quickly strains the kefir grains without clogging the nylon mesh. I use the IMUSA 6-inch plastic strainer exclusively for my daily milk kefir which allows me to use my stainless steel strainer for other purposes. I probably didn’t really need it, but at less than $2.00, it was worth it.

Very Awkward
I don't really know how to describe the mesh but this strainer overall felt incredibly awkward to use. It would kind of bend as it is more fabric-y than metal ones and the size additionally made it awkward to use. I used it maybe a couple of times before giving up and swapping to my larger strainers and buying a much better smaller one. I have no idea why I did not replace it. I guess I just kind of forgot about it's existence which probably says something about the product. Don't know how they edited the photos on their page to make it look like it is standing like that because there is no way it would do that in real life. They also say it's good for straining juices and soups. When I make soup I make enough to last a family at least a week. It is not big or small enough to use conveniently. No way in hell I would be using it to strain any kind of soup in a large pot.

Milk Kefir Strainer
Best strainer for milk kefir. I had been going back and forth between (small and medium) stainless steel strainers and fine mesh plastic strainers. Both took forever and didn't fit well. This Imusa has a narrower opening with a deep "basket" that allows for a super efficient straining. Washes easily.

Brilliant strainer
I love it, its a good quality strainer that does what is intended. Its sturdy under the weight of boiled rice, no sagging handle . Very pleased. Having read the various comments in review, I can only wonder why some folks didn't like theirs.
