Great value, works great
I look at this sauna in this way, there are surely more expensive saunas that might be of higher quality. I can't even begin to afford those more expensive saunas. Because of that, I view this sauna as the only way i can afford a good sauna, therefore i compare this sauna to not being able have a sauna otherwise. I have had it now about a month and I use it about 4 or 5 times a week and I have found no flaws in it, it's been working perfectly. I would like to address something I see people asking about in saunas and that is how long it takes to get up to temperature. I think that is misunderstanding FAR infrared. I get in it a few minutes after I turn it on and take advantage of the infrared heaters. The point is to have infrared heating your body more so than the temperature inside the cabinet. If you wait until it reaches temperature the infrared heaters turn off until the temperature goes back down a little. Of note about how it is shipped. Of course it's too big to be dropped at your doorstep by USPS. The shipping weight is nearly 300 pounds and comes attached to a standard 4 way wood pallet. It comes in a full size semi truck that can't get in some residential areas (including mine) and by trucks that normally deliver to commercial customers with a loading dock. I met the truck at a nearby location and slid it into the back of my pickup. Keep this in mind when you order it. Assembly was relatively easy and I thought their method was clever. I assembled it myself, although I'm a big guy, assembling the first two wall pieces got pretty awkward. It might be a good idea to have help when assembling it.

Very high EMF radiation readings
I am certainly not an expert, but I did buy EMF measurement tool and with the help of ChatGPT I’m trying to assess the low radiation claims for this Sauna that we assembled last weekend. Bottom line, they are really high and I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what. I’d love to hear from the manufacturer if possible. And on another note, if you are a small human being or someone who doesn’t have serious partnership help to assemble this thing, it’s a beast. Not only is the box ginormous and literally impossible to move as a one person operation so you definitely need to get the “deliver inside a specific room” service for the extra 20 bucks - totally worth it but setting it up was not easy. Two of us (we are very handy) I’m six foot, 190 pounds and strong. It was not easy. it wasn’t impossible, but it was not easy. I think that this unit simplicity for set up is overhyped. It turned out to be a decent unit… it’s not great. It’s not bad. It’s just OK, but I don’t think it’s as easy to assemble as it is presented. One final thought, I’m sure I’ll get comments like “well for 1700 bucks what do you expect?” but I think that’s a fallacy based on comparison to other higher price units. The manufacturers set the price the market doesn’t but the market should set the price and that should equal value. For me $1700 for a pine box with a few electrical components is not a ridiculously cheap price tag.

Great little sauna for the price
Okay, I ordered the 1 person sauna but received the two person sauna. I didn't realize it was the wrong size sauna until it was all put together. I was surprised how big it was and wondering how I made such a mistake in measuring until I realized from looking at the photo on line that they had sent the wrong size. (There was no obvious way to tell which model it was from the box or the directions). And I had already disposed of the packing material. Well, I decided to keep the two person sauna since there didn't seem to be an alternative. This was Amazon's fault, not JNH. Amazon credited me the difference in price and gave me an additional small discount. For some reason the 1 person sauna was more expensive than the larger one. As for the sauna I am really enjoying it. It was easy to install (as a smaller, older woman I definitely needed help from another person). It went together smoothly with no problems at all. We had it together in about two hours (some of that time was spent looking for the directions that had gotten lost). Unfortunately the control panel didn't work but when I contacted JNH they sent out a replacement immediately. ( I called Thursday and it arrived Monday). It was easy to install the new panel and it worked right away. The panel does seem a bit primitive (it's hard to tell when it's reached the correct temperature) but it's certainly functional. I crank it up to 140 and that seems just right. I give it about 10 minutes to heat up before I get in. It took three sessions before my body figured out how to sweat efficiently, but now I am sweating after about 10 minutes and I stay in for about 30 minutes. I really enjoy it and am happy with the purchase, even though it is bigger than I wanted at first. I am actually happy I ended up with the larger size because I can put my feet up on the bench. It would be a close fit for two people I think, but do-able if you are smaller. I haven't tried having company in there yet. The glass door does seem to leak a bit of cool air, but I just put a throw rug on the floor and drape it over the bottom of the door. The sauna smells good to me, very woodsy. I like the fact it is untreated wood. I am all in all happy with this purchase. It seems like a very good value and I appreciate being able to afford a sauna in my home. I lobe hopping into the bathtub after a sauna session, then into bed. Very relaxing and refreshing.
