I Can check the status of fuses now without pulling them out. I can also do my own diagnosis rather than taking car to a garage. A wonderful development, as it saves money.

Light gets brighter at higher voltage

Okay, so any old light bulb can be a test probe. But this one has features that make it a needed upgrade from your standard "is it hot" probe. No need to switch leads around to test for ground or hot, just probe and look at the light color. And more - you can even test components not in the vehicle, etc. Also, the long leads are helpful (I used it to solve a wiring issue in the tail lights of an old truck with an 8 foot bed.)

I would buy this style of device with the digital readout on it instead, just my opinion.

For the price point this is a great product but the red LED is so dim it makes it difficult to see in the sunlight.

For the price it's great. Cord could be a bit longer as I have trucks, wasn't a bit deal tho. The power and negative supply is a very nice feature. I would recommend. Just note cord is long enough for most vehicles but not long enough to go from battery to tail lights on a truck, was mostly what I was using it for.
