NOW Supplements, Calcium & Magnesium with D-3 & Zinc,120 Softgels

OK, so this is not a sleep aid, but it works like one. We have been taking this brand and form of calcium for several years. For whatever reason we stopped taking this brand about a year ago. Shortly after that, I noticed that my sleeping was jacked up. I say this because I took three soft gels, or whatever you call them, every night 45-60 minutes before I went to bed. And I slept pretty darn good. Especially for someone with an enlarged prostate. Slept through the night, maybe I got up once. Well that all went out the window when I stopped taking this item. Sure I was still taking calcium but I was no longer sleeping through the night or even getting up twice. Try 3, 4, 5 times a night. I did not put realize that the reason my sleep was jacked up was because I stopped taking the one thing that put me to sleep, and kept me asleep every night. So after several months, we went back to this Now brand of calcium, that I am reviewing, and that very night we got them I slept through the night. Seriously, I’ve been taking it again for the past week and if I don’t sleep through the night, I only get up once. The stuff is simply amazing for sleeping. I don’t know what to call the delivery system. It’s definitely not a “soft” gel, it’s hard. It’s not a tablet, but it’s not a soft gel either. And it’s not a small cap. So if you have trouble taking large vitamins, this may not be for you. But I would give it a shot if you are having trouble sleeping at night. Best sleep aid on the market. Hands down.

These exactly meet the dosage that my doctor says I need to take every day (age 75 with Osteopenia). They are rather big capsules but I can swallow them with no problems. Magnesium and Calcium are my deficiencies so these are the perfect solution that meets my daily requirements.

I’ve been using this brand of magnesium/calcium for a while. Received a new bottle and immediately noticed that the pills looked different. More of a yellowish with a different feel. I called the company directly who answered immediately and told me that the formula had changed, checked the lot number and verified it was a valid product of theirs. I was very impressed with the customer service. However, if you’ve been using this product, note the difference in the ingredients and how your body reacts to it. I used to take two of the former formula and now can only take one as they enter your bloodstream quicker and my body is absorbing more of the ingredients.The new formula also suggest that you take three a day which my body cannot handle. I was so excited to try the soft gel capsules but to my surprise this is very big capsules to swallow. It say take with food but putting these 2 together can be a joke hazard. It hurts to swallow this and you can feel how difficult it is going down, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I had to consume some firm to help this go down completely. Tip: If you have a weekly medicine tray it's good to put the capsules in there instead of the container it comes in. The air help in soften the capsules and makes it easier to swallow.

I have been looking for a good vitamin and when I read the ingredients in the stores I get discouraged. I finally asked my daughter what she uses and she recommended this brand. I am in my seventies and I know that I need Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D-3 and Zinc especially. Was thrilled that they were all in this along with being softgels. Just started taking them! Feel better just knowing that I have started on a new regimen.

These are the largest caps I have to swallow and they really are not difficult. Now is known for good quality and my lab results show that.

I’ve been using NOW products for years & have not had any problems. They just struck me as a more trustworthy brand.
