how long does it run off a fully charged battery

Hello B Forester. The QTX QR15PA has a claimed battery life of up to 8 hours. This is for low listening levels and speech only. For music you're probably looking at around 6 hours.

Can I use a tie mike with this system? If so what additional items would I need to buy?

It has a 6.3mm mic input socket or a phone input (that I use for my iPod) so you connect a wireless or wired tie-clip mic that has with 6.3mm jack (or add a convertor from 3.5mm) or phono output.

Can someone tell me if the charging light should stay on (orange) when plugged in or whether it only stays on for a minute and then goes out?

light stays on when charging and turns off when charged.. if your light goes off after a min or so its either fully charged or there is a loose connection. would suggest you let it completely drain and then recharge, if light goes off after a min or so then there is a fault.. but leave it charging for a few hours to see if battery is at fault.

Does the speaker come with a stand?
