Accurate and well built
I bought this because of all the excellent reviews, so allow me to add my voice to the crowd. This is a great tire pressure gauge—well-built, easy to use, and, most importantly, very accurate. I compared its readings with my Milwaukee tire inflator, and the results were consistently spot-on. I’m very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

PERFECT!!!
A perfect tire pressure gauge for this very affordable price! I have aftermarket rims, so I was a bit worried about the ease of reaching the valve with a limited reach tube, and, in fact, I was seriously considering getting one with a hose on it (which also have the glow in the dark feature, which would be handy), but those are quite expensive compared to this JACO, like twice or even three times the price, so I wanted to try this one first -- and I'm SO glad I did! This is the best tire pressure gauge I've ever owned, bar none. Not that a sixty dollar gauge isn't a nice investment for those who have the bucks, but I'm not taking my car to the track or anything dramatic, so a more simple gauge will do. And, as far as my aftermarket rims, especially because the head of the gauge swivels 360 degrees, connecting to my valve stems was an absolute breeze, no matter what position the valve was on any of the tires. So, this is an excellent buy, because not only does it far surpass the cheap ones that tend to be unreliable, but also provides the quality, reliability, and many of the features of gauges costing forty to sixty dollars. The main feature I was looking for was for it to hold the reading, since the one I had didn't do that, and this one does exactly that, so I can take a reading and then check it, which is really helpful at night (so I didn't need a glow in the dark feature after all), and just generally helpful since I don't have to try to read it while it is attached to the tire valve, like a lot of gauges I've had in the past. Invariably, at least one tire always has the valve in a less than convenient spot, so no more having to attempt a yoga position to read a gauge. Just press it on the tire, poof, you have your reading, and it holds until you push the release button. I love that it has a larger dial, that is very readable, and measures by the pound, instead of increments of five. It gives a very exact reading, and I can now match my tire pressure all around, to the exact pound of pressure. I also love that it doesn't waste any air. Some gauges seem just useless at making a quick connection, and you wind up letting out a pound of air just trying to get a reading, but this one instantly and securely connects to the valve stem for a solid reading without air loss. The company behind these is also GREAT -- follow up emails to ensure that you're happy with the product, and even a helpful manual provided, and coupons for future purchases. So that just adds to the happiness of this purchase! I'm completely happy with this buy and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great Gauge, 5 years in the Texas sun and heat and still going
Purchased in 2017 and I've had no issues. I appreciate good engineering being one. I didn't rate the accuracy because I have nothing known accurate to compare it to. For tires I am not that concerned and it seems perfectly good for that. If someone is greatly concerned gauges have a class that tells you the accuracy, I think I saw something saying class B. The dial is a good size and easy to read. You can make a good guess down to .25psi. The luminescence is good. For night I've shined a light on it and then gone to work and can read it fine. If I bring it in from outside during daylight I can see it glowing even with indoor light. I like the swivel. Easy to get the best orientation to the tire. Rugged. The rubber casing around the gauge protects it from a drop unless you hit the face. 5 years in a car that sits in the sun. I've measured Texas car temps at 200F inside the car. I don't use the release as a bleeder as the amount of air that comes out is too low for me. Lastly customer service. I've seen reviews complaining. I realize that companies are made up of humans and depending on the human you get and they day they are having it can affect their reaction. My son who very much likes mechanical things like his father figured out that the bottom can unscrew. I found my gauge with no bottom and being 2 my son didn't know where it was. I called customer service and jokingly asked if children were covered under warranty. A little pleasantness to a customer service person who gets to hear complaints all day is not a bad idea. Anger and unpleasantness usually get that in return. He said he would send me the part. I was surprised and appreciated their consideration as a child losing a part is not really warranty. NOTE: There are o rings in the gauge. At some point everything wears out. If you gauge stops working then you can easily clear/clean the gauge. You're not using it in a clean room and dirt can be blown from the tire valve into the gauge. There are diagrams online. D

High quality, solid, analog tire pressure gauge...
Well built, and easy to use and read tire gauge. I decided to go with the 60lb model since it is in 1lb graduations. The instructions that came with it say that it is a tested calibrated, and certified gauge. That should be highlighted on their amazon sales page, since many from big box stores can be off by several psi and aren't tested at all. It does appear to be accurate. The body is supposedly steel under the heavy-duty rubber protection cover, which is a plus in an analog gauge; as they are often damaged by dropping on a hard surface like asphalt or concrete. The rest was nicely machined out of brass; which has a valve that held the air pressure well to hold the reading. It also works pretty well for bleeding, with the pressure falling 2lbs with the valve open, popping back reliably when released; a plus when fine tuning tire pressure. The dial glows pretty bright green in the dark after a few seconds in front of a light, but not much more than 5-10 minutes. It's almost enough to read with for the first minute (the numbers, marks, and the hand glow). I really have zero complaints considering that I have only had it a few months, and have yet to use it in subfreezing outdoor temps. At the current price point, being around $16, it looks really solid. It looks like I might not be buying another tire gauge for awhile. Update: Still works perfectly after 5 years of regular use. Best tire gauge I've ever owned for sure.

Accurate and easy to use
In order for a gauge to be useful, it needs to be accurate, easy to read, easy to use, reliable and easy to store. So far, the gauge seems accurate. The only way to be sure a gauge is accurate is to have one of known accuracy, but that begs the question. Since this gauge agrees with what TPMS reports, it's accurate enough for practical purposes. Considering that pressure readings will change based on temperature, both with respect to air temperature and based on increased temperature from usage, there's no need for a higher level of precision. In real life, tires will give a range of pressure readings depending on the time of day and outdoor temperature when the pressure is read. But it is important to keep your pressures reasonably close to the recommendation, as well as consistent with each other. The dial is large and easy to read. The parts seem to be of high quality. The bleeder valve lets air out slowly, so it's difficult to overshoot when letting out air. The swivel makes it easy to use regardless of which way the stem is facing. The only remaining question is reliability. For that, there's a lifetime warranty, as well as a promise from me that I will update this review if anything goes wrong with it.

Quality and Affordable
JACO is a highly trusted brand. I keep this small, durable, affordable tire guage in my car. Your tires are the only things touching the road, and the only things keeping your car on the road during curves, turns and freeway speed driving. Always use a high quality guage to keep your tires at optimal, safe pressures.

Accurate and easy to use tire pressure gauge
This is an accurate, excellent, easy to use tire pressure gauge. I had mine for three years or so, until I knocked it off my car onto the asphalt at a gas station, yesterday, and it broke. My fault! I immediately ordered a new one which is coming today. That’s how much I like this important item. Check your tire pressure regularly. Safe driving to all the good folks out there,

Brand good. Seller treats product badly.
Brand is good. Quality product no doubt. Since originally at manufacturer premises every gauge is tested, calibrated and certified according to ANSI B40.1 standard. But local seller treats product badly. Original box was opened. Item looks like was used or tested by seller before dispatch. So not sure that gauge is working correctly after such treat now.
