Higgins Pet Food Intune Ferret 4Lb

I had this on my list as a secondary item in case they were out of my main Ferrett food, but they liked it so much. I now buy them both and mix them together. Wonderful food Ferrett enjoy it very much.

This is the first actual ferret food that I’ve ever tried with them, just because of how horrendous all the other ones are (being mainly composed with fillers, grains, and the like) and while there are still some not so great ingredients, it’s still way better than any other ferret food on the market. Also, They took to it instantly, and seemed to really love it! I didn’t notice a change right away besides that, but after a few weeks, their fur was thicker and soooo soft!! Their poop was also a lot healthier. Also, my girl ferret has started getting longer!! I love this food and I’m really happy I tried it out :) picture of my babies above

My red-eye-white, 5 yrs old male (our big boiii): coat is less prone to turning orange between his quarterly oatmeal baths. Smell is much less noticeable. Play and sleep seem much better. Sable female, 3 1/2 yrs (petite and sassy): Improved thickness of coat, play, sleep and hunger. More consistent firm stool. Both took to this food with little hesitation. The kibble they moved from was expensive and of higher protein content. I’m sticking with this brand hereafter. Their kibble is available to the 24/7 and I can hear them nibble on it at night. They free roam/play at least three times a day. At the end of play they get freeze dry food that is rehydrated. Their stool has been much more consistent and hair-loss is stabilizing and less prominent. I recommend this diet.

I switched to intune a few years ago from a loge name brand that I felt was lacking what my ferrets need. I’m so glad I did switch. This food has been so good for them. Their fur is softer and they have more energy and playfulness. We switched slowly so I did not notice any ill effects on their digestion process. I appreciate that it is a good amount cheaper on Amazon than any pet supply store near me.

my ferrets favorite food. a little fishy smelling when you first open the bag but after a bit it airs out.

I use Intune, Oxbow, and Wysong all mixed together as 1. If you can't find one of the foods, not to worry, they'll already be used to the others. All 3 are the best ferret foods I've found!
