Oh how I LOVE this coat!
I was skeptical that a fashion brand could make an acceptably warm coat, but as I walked my dog this morning in the abysmal cold (10°F with a windchill at -7°F), I realized that only my face was freezing! At that moment, I was delighted to pop up the strange floatation device of a collar for a little coverage! As other comments have said, the neck-pillow looking collar is odd and I wish it was either removable or could be flattened down a bit (it looks more subtle in some of the other review pics, so I'm hoping it will flatten with time), but it was sure was nice to have when I needed it! I have now worn it in below 0°F temps for quick outings, but can't yet speak to how long it keeps warmth (will update if I find out).I've been eyeing this coat since last winter and am so glad I finally bought it. I have a large chest (38DDD), so typically hate the way puffer coats look on me—they're either too tight around my chest, but sizing up makes me look and feel like a walrus. But, I wanted a full-length coat that can handle below freezing temps, so that narrowed options.Got a size Large, which fits true to size for me (5'7, 185#, 38DDD, usually size 12 or 10 on a good day). Coat zips up and down smoothly and I can wear a bulky sweatshirt under it comfortably. I don't mess with the extra snaps, but the fabric stays flat. I can also sit while driving very comfortably without having to unzip it.The Titanium color is beautiful! I was afraid it'd be too light, but it's a really nice medium-to-dark grey shade. I originally bought the Chocolate/Brown color, but it arrived missing snaps so I returned it (was clearly a manufacturing defect, not pre-worn / torn). By the time I reordered it, the Titanium color was discounted more, so that's why I went with it instead of brown. But, now having seen both in person, I definitely prefer titanium so am glad I went with it! Although, I would be happy with the brown too, it was also really nice.At this point, I've not spent a lot of time in it while snow is actually falling, so I cannot speak to how water/snow resistant it is. If I find out it's not and absorbs snow, I'll definitely update this post.My only silly gripe is that the pocket openings are higher than any coat I've ever owned (like, where pockets on a blazer would be, maybe?), especially for a full-length coat. Maybe a fluke? Not a complaint, just odd enough to notice. I'm really short waisted, so this is not an issue I'm used to encountering, but I'm finally starting to not consistently miss the pocket on the first try lol. This is by no means a dealbreaker, but I have a shoulder injury that can limit mobility when it flares up, so I only put keys in the other pocket. But, super happy - love this coat!

Order size smaller.
Absolutely love this coat, fits perfectly. Well made. The collar is a bit overwhelming but with wear wont be as bulky, if not I’ll have it reduced by a seamstress..I ordered the large originally but it was humongous.

This coat is CHIC!
It's an awesome coat, seriously! Extremely warm, perfectly tailored, looks amazing and expensive, but pleasantly affordable in price. Quite a steal, actually! Especially the warm standing collar if you live in a cold windy and snowy state like Michigan! The only reason why we had to return this coat is the height of yours to make this whole thing work out for you. I got it for my mom cuz she wanted a coat to cover her knees with a nice collar and hood. So this coat checked every box for her. Unfortunately, she turned out to be too short for it. Size M that she usually gets is for a person at least my height(I'm 5'6") or better taller. Lengthwise on her it looked huge, width wise was perfect. If I needed a nice warm coat, I'd definitely keep it for myself, but I have three already)) So for all the tall people out there, I totally recommend buying it,it's a real deal for the money paid!

Good but shipped wrong size but oddly still fits.
I ordered a extra small and got extra small tall petite. After I ordered my size was not listed on order. Now it say extra small ordered. Oddly it fits just extra long because I'm 5 ft 1 1/2 inches. I like for the price but wish it was not hand washable. Hope it holds up next winter. Like to buy a second but don't know what size will be shipped. 4 out 5 stars due to shipping wrong size. Color isn't pretty like picture either. Lining is soft. Pockets look good but scared to open in case it will rip like the other reviews.

Madden Girl Label is very large so go down a size. Steve Madden Label is true to size. i
Excellent quality, attractive, Medium size is rather small—tight in sleeves and pockets high. First I ordered Madden Girl puffer long coat in my usual L size but it was huge and I had to return. I then ordered the Steve Madden long puffer coat in size M because listing said if between sizes go down a size. The Steven Madden labeled coat is quite different than Madden Girl puffer in that the collar is separate from hood and higher more fitted for great wind protection with hood fastened over collar under chin. The hood is detachable while M Girl one is not. Steve Madden labeled puffer is more tailored, higher quality sewing, zipper stronger. Pockets are set high on front of coat with snap fastener so not as secure or comfortable to use. Steve Madden coat is several inches longer. I’m 5’5 1/2” and coat comes to top of ankles—I like that for warmth right down to my boots. Sleeve length is perfect with stretchy inside cuff. Coat is only water resistant. I will return and exchange for size L in Steve Madden Labeled coat. Since it is on sale, the value for money is excellent.

Poofy and weird pockets
I returned mine. This one is poofy if you like the comfort of that. I got a different one that is less poofy but just as warm. The pockets on this one are awful. Normally I don't need my hands to comfortably go in the pockets. But in the winter, that's where your hands go! Not in this coat. Not only are they positioned weird, but the material inside is super cheap and scratchy. It gave me the heebie jeebies and if you're hands are dry ( which they will be. Its winter) it is even worse. The hood wasn't fuzzy at all but does sinch down nice over your face.My biggest deal breaker though was the size. I ordered a large, at 5'7" and 180lbs. The sleeves were pinchy even without a sweater on. I hate that. Between that and the pockets I found a different brand that worked much better for me. If the pockets and poof are your jam, you'll love this coat I think. I did not.
