Dorman 699-100 Accelerator Pedal Compatible with Select Models

Easy enough to install I didn’t have the wobble tool so it took forever with a wrench, but it’s installed and working.

This was an exact fit for my trailblazer.

Purchased and installed this for my Chevy Trailblazer a couple a months ago. Worked well while the weather was warm, but as soon as it got cold I started getting check engine light w/ reduced power and code p1217 (accelerator sensor). I have since replaced it with GM OEM and I have not had any issues since. Of course its now past the return period from Amazon so I am stuck. Save yourself the time and go purchase one from the dealer.

I can only echo the words of the other reviewers for this part. It failed within a week giving me the same "check engine soon" and "reduced power" lights mentioned before. When checked by service center the same P1271 code turned up at once. I returned this cheap imitation and bought the GM OEM part. Consider yourself warned!

Obviously refurbished or just a piece of crap. Installed and got two failure codes immediately. Checked voltage and no high or low signal generated by movement of pedal. Ordered OEM and problem immediately fixed (for reference GM error code 1271 was original problem, Dorman generated 1220 and 1225 when installed, APP #1 & #2 signal mismatch)

This product worked two months and then set off service engine codes that stalled the car randomly with reduced engine power lights in dangerous situations, the last time in the middle of 4 lanes of traffic. Refund was refused as over 30 days. This is beyond defective, this is dangerous.

I am worried because I have the intrigue if the piece is new , because in settings nuts signs of having been already installed. There nuts signals . I'll try to see if it works well .
