I don’t have a bike computer can I use this with the iPhone/app only, no computer needed?

Does this work for indoor cycling on a trainer, with connection to an iPhone, without a bike computer? I can’t seem to pair it with any apps so far

It would seem the device is capable (it just counts...), but depends what your app/computer will report. My Wahoo element bolt only gives rpm........
