This is for shows but I use it for smaller articles of delicate clothing. It is very good quality, thicker mesh which is probably great for shoes. Zipper has help up so far when using for clothing.

This bag was purchased for my VIVAIA and Rothy’s washable shoes and does a really good job. Sometimes it is hard to keep zipped because the bag can easily turn inside out and it is hard to notice. A simple design change would entirely fix this. I figured they wouldn’t change the design based on my opinion so I used a washable marker to distinguish the inside from the outside. This solved my problem. My shoes come out looking brand new. I live in Louisiana where it can be quite rainy and muddy. I have lymphedema and my skin is fragile. Lymphatic fluid can leak from my calves onto the shoes and a simple scratch can cause blood stains. A quick spray with a high quality stain remover and then washing with good detergent using cool water and the delicate cycle keeps my shoes in pristine condition.

This shoes washing machine bag is amazing

In my first review I was impressed with the quality. I’ve now had the shoe laundry bag for 7 months. After using the bag just a few times, the zipper already broke off in the wash and the bag would not unzip. I had to cut the bag to get my shoes out, so now the bag is useless. The mesh is very sturdy, I will give it that. Item made in China. The order came with 2 bags, so I’ll see how long the second one lasts. (Initial review): Very sturdy, well-made shoe bag for the washer and dryer. It keeps shoes from getting tangled up with the other laundry. I really like these bags.

The zipper opens during the wash cycle and the show falls out. You don't need this to wash your shoes.

I've been using these Shoe/Sneaker Wash Bags for years and they do not disappoint! I found them from a YouTube recommendation video. If I had to put my sneakers in the wash without the bags, along with other laundry items, thinking about it grosses me out. But having a protective layer so it not only cleans the shoes, it protects it from getting damaged, and mixing with other laundry fabrics and mediums. It keeps the shape, and for an added stain tip, I'll use a spot cleaner or baking soda in the wash bag to further freshen. On another note, my sister had used these bags for sweaters, and loved how it protected the shape and material.
