Haven't used it yet, but all components look good. Appears to be well made.

The magnetic strips in the blade holder don't hold anything, not even close. The quality of the stamped gouges is pitiful. I've honestly rarely seen such a bad product.

The knives were not as good quality as iexpected. Though there is a good selection of blades, the handles don't grip the blades securely. The blades are not interchangeable with other brands of similar style. The gouge blades are so thin they bent when my students were carving fairly soft cottonwood bark.

Junk... poorly made and not true tolerances. Save your money and buy the Xacto brand.

Not top quality

My husband sustained a traumatic brain injury and this product is something he wanted to help regain some of his skills. He has used it often, and loves it.

The case is nice. The inside blow mold storage is junk. Magnet strips loose (poorly glued). When I opened the box for the first time, the blades were all over the place. The magnet strips are so weak they won't hold a blade so the storage box as sold is useless. I would not recommend the kit. Reliable storage of sharp blades is kind of important.

It's a nice little set, not meant for heavy duty use, only detailing.. Plainer is cheap and dont stay together.. But all in all its a nice.little set for.a great price..
