Works great! Can't compare to others as this was my 1st installation. But this made my amplified door speakers sound so much better! I like the dedicated subwoofer output too! Also, decent mounting hardware for what it is. Would buy again!

In addition to being too bulky-sized, home graphic equalizers (Rockville brand seems to now have a monopoly) tend to receive a high number of very negative reviews. To plug in any highly-praised, 12-volt car equalizer into your home's 120-volt power outlet, you will need to buy the following: (1)A plug-in, on-off switch, for example: "UltraPro Grounded Power Switch, 2 Pack, 3 Prong, White, $8.99" (2)A 120-volt AC to 12-volt DC converter, for example: "BYGD AC to DC Converter, 100V ~ 240V to 12V 10A 120W, Car Cigarette Lighter Socket AC/DC Power Supply Adapter Transformer, $19.99" (3)A 12-volt cigarette lighter male plug with leads, for example: "EXTRACTME 2 Pack 12V Fused Cigarette Lighter Male Plug with Leads & LED Light, 16AWG Car Replacement Cigarette Lighter Plug Adapter, $5.99" If you want to get fancy, you might also want to buy: (1)Several 3.5mm stereo female to dual RCA male Y adapters, for example: "6 Inch 3.5mm Female to 2 RCA Male Stereo Audio Y Cable, Nickel Plated Adapter, 6 Pack, $7.10" (2)Several high quality 3.5mm stereo audio cables, for example: "2 Pack AUX Cord, 3.5mm Audio Cable [5 Foot /1.5M Hi-Fi Sound] AUX Auxiliary Cable, $6.88" or "1 Foot 3.5mm Male to Male Stereo Audio Cable Headphone/Phone / MP3 Cable, $4.97" (3)For the most important electrical connections in your life, you might want to use a terminal block or a busbar instead of just using twist caps or crimps, for example: "RECOIL Dual Row Busbar Positive and Negative 2 x 5/16 Studs 1 x #8 Screw Terminals Power and Ground Distribution Block with Ring Terminals Red & Black, $21.99" (4)If you buy the above RECOIL brand busbar, then you will also need to buy either an adjustable wrench or a complete combination wrench set. If your Skar equalizer is mounted in your car, then the black wire would need to be connected to GND, the red wire would need to be connected to BATT+, and the blue wire would need to be connected to REM = "remote." If the blue wire were left disconnected, then your equalizer would always be off and never turn on, or, it would always be on and never turn off, thereby draining your car battery, even while your car is parked and turned off. Thus, the purpose of the blue wire in all cars is to turn on your equalizer only when your car ignition key is turned on and to turn off your equalizer immediately after you turn off your car ignition key and remove the key to go back into your home. At home, you won't have a blue wire. You will have only a black wire and a red wire coming from your 12-volt cigarette lighter male plug with leads. Connect the black wire to your equalizer's GND terminal and connect the red wire to both the BATT+ terminal and the REM terminal on your equalizer (see illustration).

Works extremely well only thing that would make it better is 3 separate rca inputs front,rear,and subs vs a single main left and right

That this thing is bad ass I’ve had a lot of equalizers over the years. This thing is crazy. It has a big bang to your amplifier and smooth out everything first time scar buyer but this thing is awesome. I put a brand new alpine head unit six are in Vegas. Speakers was so disappointed in how it sounds added this and it’s just amazing. We’ll run you out of the truck.

Good EQ. However, after owning it for a year and a half, it quit. I had to buy another one.

Not to bad at for sure improved sound just need better filter for sub so 50hz does effect front and rear outputs

This is a great product from previous experience. Unfortunately I recenty ordered this product and the Sub-out did not work. I have used this product before and was very impressed with it, clarity and clean frequency was impressive compared to other brands that I have used. Mind you the other features for for my mids and highs were spot on. If every thing worked I would have given it a 5 star rating.
