Great amp
It may be a prime but itโs perfect amp for my 6.5 and 6x9 Punch. The clean indicator is a great feature

Great Sound at a great price.
I needed to replace the Bose system in my car 06 Envoy. So I replaced the two front door speakers with the p 167 5 from Fosgate. Bypassed the factory amp and replaced it with the are two three hundred amp from Fosgate. Not a lot of money to spend but what a difference in sound quality. So anyone looking to improve their sound system on the cheap you should really look Fosgate amps and speakers. You will be amazed.

Extremely well designed Amplifier
Rockford Fosgate has really done an awesome job in the design of these amplifiers. I have this one running a total of 6 speakers. Two 6.5", two 6"x9" and two 3.5" Rockford Fosgate component speakers. So it's running two speakers at a 4 ohm load and four speakers at a 2 ohm load. I have a 50 mile one way commute and after listening for that amount of time (approximately 1.5 hours) the amp isn't even warm to the touch. I design electronics and I must say the thermal dissipation for these class D amps is phenomenal. Very much worth the price for the quality.

Great product
I thought that because I was down grading, from a 600w to a 300w. I can not tell. Only difference is the 600w had a โโPUNCHโโ button

As expected from Fosgate
This amp lives up to Rockford Fosgates reputation. We have it running JL separates and is very efficient with excellent sound quality, The crossovers and tuning are very versatile. The hardware and connections are very good quality. the amp looks great installed and does not produce excessive heat. Very pleased with the purchase.

It's Expensive, and I have to admit, Disappointed (see why...)
My application is a 2017 Jeep Wrangler with Component JBL GTO 9 Series Front and Rear, along with a Subwoofer Pioneer TS-WX70DA. I was using a NVX VAD11005 and the sound was clean, tight, and the Pioneer was a perfect match to deliver the oomph. Unfortunately after 24 months the NVX amplifier died leaving me with no sound (5/4/2 amplifier), and I could crank my AFTERmarket MTCE Head Unit to the max. I decided to go with the Rockford Fosgate and I must say the size of the unit is 25% smaller than my previous amp, and the layout of the inputs a lot more practical and logical. But unfortunately, the sound is not as clean (no pun intended) nor as full. The NVX sounded fuller and aligned perfectly with my JBL GTO 9 Series component speakers. The Rockford Fosgate has a lot more punch and delivers more sound, it's just not clear clean sound. Nothing changed in my setup other than the amp, and the Fosgate is more muddled (slightly muddled) and sounds less tight and is missing the overall fullness that the NVX amp delivered. I'm going to look into perhaps playing around with the gain controls and see if that helps, but so far, big fail. I guess the best example I can give is like the difference listening to a cassette tape player (the Rockford Fosgate) vs listening to a CD player. There is less headroom, less clarity and definition and less dynamic range.
