Has lasted 1 year with a good amount of dancing. I have Started to lose some fibers but still out lasting my cheaper one.

I bought this for my LightPainting projects for photography class. Our teacher had one that she was gifted that was nearly $100, this was HALF the price and I felt it worked way better than hers. Hers felt like a cheap light saber handle. Mine Is a metal handle and has alot more fiber optic nerves that gives my photo a very nice clean break of light. If you love lightpainting I highly suggest you purchasing this!

This is working well for me after I modified it to use for long exposure photos. Seems like a quality product straight out of the package. The fibers were too long for what I needed so I cut them down to a bit over a foot long.

I used it twice and then it just stopped working. Tried changing batteries and still nothing. I contacted customer service and they are sending a replacement. Their reply was received within a couple of days of my email to them.

So far this has been amazing! The colors are beautiful and it’s very easy to use. My friends and family also love it! I definitely recommend this for someone who wants to learn on something not so expensive!

Received as expected, is exactly the type of whip I was looking for. I think I lost some of the light changing, it stays on a solid colour now that I have to manually change.

I purchased this item for long-exposure photography. Good quality, well built! No issues or problems and seems like it is holding up to my extended use.

I’ve had this whip for over a year. It’s been great! Was a little stiff at first, but softens up over time. The buttons still work great, even with periodic abuse from my toddler. I usually use it at outdoor music festivals and electronic music shows, so it is well weathered. Some fibres have fallen out and the odd one broken, but it holds up well for what I put it through. And this will happen to some degree even with expensive ones, but the price is way more reasonable with this one. I had my first LED whip stolen at a show years ago, so don’t really want to drop hundreds unless I’m getting paid to perform with it! Maintenance: I wash with gentle soapy water on occasion, and lube with a standard silicone lube (same kind used for seggs), this does help keep the fibres soft; I use olive oil or grapeseed oil when the silicone is not available.
